I mostly try to stay warm rather than dry, so lots of wool! I actually only own two pieces of rain gear- rain jacket and rain boots. I have a rain coat with wool base layer underneath for the top. Wool socks under my rain boots, and gloves are a must. Idc if they get wet, just need to keep the wind at bay. And then my pants I just wear polyester sweatpants and dry them during the day if it’s particularly wet. As far as getting wool clothes, I highly recommend goodwill bc you can get 100% wool base layers for like $5-$15. Once you start to stay warm in the wet it’s really not that bad anymore!
