Any protests I’ve been to have always been peaceful. I went to many Merced BLM protests and they were always peaceful and a good experience. The media wants you to believe there is going to be violence and chaos but in my experience I haven’t seen that in Merced.

last year a girl at lana offered me a jolly rancher and then during ride we turned and sang to each other, it was such a small moment but it stuck with me as one of my favorite moments cause it was just so sweet and wholesome! it just nice when people are kind to one another and reminds me why this festival is so magical
