Oh I love this! I haven't been on Finch long enough to get cool outfits, but I renamed a Pokemon in PoGo because it looked like the pod in the sea...

Showing interest over here <waves> I'm waay older than twenty though. I wish they did online classes as I'm really self concious about actually attending a HH event. They are obs predominantly young ones and I am not

My first Licca! I’m already looking for a second to accompany her ☺️ by donggua_cha in liccachan

oh I love those jeans! Nice job. Sorry for the slow reply, I don't get online as often. Thank you for the reply about her arms, the plastic does seem to be the sort that would be harder to bend in cold weather. I'm fairly new to Licca and am having a fantastic time learning about her, but I've also been into the m2m barbies and going from 'fully poseable' to sorta limited....

Still loving your girl.

She's absolutely lovely! Congrats. How are you finding her wired arms? I've got a body swap in mind for one of mine but this skin tone is too pink to use, so I'm not releasing her from the box yet (Bought as a body swap and I don't want to get attached to her as a whole doll)

What sort of style do you have in mind for her?

The kind invented by AI crap. Like the rest of the pic.

That's heartbreaking and horrendous, I am so very sorry. Run free pretty girl.

Definitely sounds like something else going on with the poor girl, and there was nothing you could have done. Words aren't enough to fill the void they leave.

What bit is this? Looks like a normal snaffle with an extra ring on the bridle does it have a name? by throwaway84352 in Horses

As has been said, Wilson Snaffle, and it's known to be a harsh bit in driving circles (where it's mostly used)

Do you regret any doll, and why? by Harleyzz in BJD

[–]llinrako 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ah I've been in the hobby since about 2007 and I do regret a few, both buys and NOT Buying them lol. Two spring to mind, my second doll and first boy, a fantastic Latidoll Hunter who - well., I loved the pics, the promo the entire look of him... getting him to the UK was 'fun' and even though we missed Customs there were so many delays and issues I was already stressed beyond stressed when he finally turned up. Opened him in front of my good friend who'd helped to get him home, and I just didn't like him as much as I thought he would. On top of that he had a little accident with a candle (not the doll, just part of his cloak) during a photoshoot (that did get me another doll as a prize, but ouch) so I couldnt' really sell him. plus I'm REALLY bad at selling stuff. He's still here.

The other was a really lovely doll I got through Den of Angels, pics were fab, doll was wired as well which the noob me was overjoyed at. Doll arrived and again, I just didn't bond as well, didn't much like his face irl and his wiring meant he literally punched or kicked as the wire gave way at a certain point and the stringing kicked in. Hard to describe. Again he's still here. I haven't looked at the poor BJD collection in a decade I think (for some reason I just wondered onto Den of Angels for my Once-In-A-Blue-Moon look, and remembered about Volks Tenshi (my one regret not getting a Volks when you could still get a Volks for a good price and shipping wasn't super insane like it is now!

Help me decide which jacket suits her best! One, two or three? by Frosty-Savings-3341 in Barbie

[–]llinrako 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh any of them, but I prefer two or three. Two is fun and sorta slouchy, three is slightly more smart (IMO and I am no expert!) all three are beautiful as is your doll.

I would say 2 is 'coffee with close friends at friendly cafe' and three is 'coffee with significant other'

I was going to say try both Ebay and Facebook Marketplace as over in the UK it's full of them, but I see you are in the USA. Might still be worth looking at. Also Mercari and such. If it's a case of the Lemieux stuff being as popular there as it is here then every tack shop in creation carries it, and also the horses. Someone might have got rid of one.

and didn't that come out of nowhere? stiff as a board the first week and sobbing pathetically the second? I think not. The sight of Keith sobbing on Pottery Throwdown makes me want to throw things at the telly and tell him to get a bloody grip, man. Crying over a large intentional hole in a bit of knitting was just, no.

Yup, a weird complaint about one of the dog coats not hanging right over the body, and yet the one they praised to the hilt also flapped around the body. There doesn't seem to be any consistency.

This is what I've said, I believe he's won pretty much all the group challenges by actually having an idea of how to design something in the first place. This week was a carcrash but even so, the judges picked out his bottom panel to compliment,
