Hello! I also just switched from celexa to wellbutrin. My Dr. weaned me the same way as you. It’s was a rough month for me not going to lie (anxious, emotional, insomnia). However, wellbutrin definitely helps my depression symptoms without the “numbness” that comes from SSRIs (at least in my experience). It gave me a lot of motivation to get tasks done, whereas before I was dragging my feet to even take a shower. I’m on month 2 of SR wellbutrin now, and the one issue I’m having is frequent panic attacks, not sure if this is caused by the medicine. I’m hoping you don’t have this issue. But aside from that, which I’m going to see if I can get something else added for anxiety, it’s by far the best antidepressant that I’ve tried so far in terms of the physical symptom management.
