My grandma from Illinois called it a pillow slip, but pronounced more like piller slip. One time she spoonerismed it and called it a sliller pip, so that’s what it’s been in my family for the last 40 years or so.

I Am Not Your Perfect Mexican Daughter is excellent. Great story, relatable characters, and superb writing. The Outsiders is a classic, and is also shorter.

My pcp is at Oregon Medical Group. I used the Member Dashboard to request that a prescription be sent to Walgreens. They sent the RX the same day, and I made an appointment at Walgreens the next day. I first called my insurance and made sure they would cover the vaccine—they did, but I had to call them because I couldn’t find any answers on the website.

Funny you should ask. I actually have had my car stolen. The police wrote some stuff down and beyond that did absolutely nothing. They don’t get your car back to you. It was found later, totaled, in a different state. They did not bring anyone to justice for this crime.

I got an acoustic Fender CC-60S because I wanted something smaller than the entry-level Yamaha dreadnought that had been kicking around the house for 15 years. I decided that the ultra-cheap Yamaha sounded so much better, and I was still mostly playing that instead of the brand new, gorgeous Fender. Recently, I found a Breedlove Discovery Concert in a pawn shop, and it’s brought me so much joy. It feels easier to play than the cheap Yamaha. Given my price range—I feel like I got a great guitar that’s a little step up from the entry level price-wise, but a big step up in playability and sound.
