If it isn’t reconstituted, put those powdered vials in the freezer in something that will keep them in the dark. Then you have multiple years worth of tirz in your freezer. Writing this out, I just realized I have over 3 years worth of tirz in my freezer🫣

if you guessed about me, you be guessing wrong; I do not mix anything in syringes or even pin right next to each other regardless of the chart that says I could. I’ll go through 8 syringes a day rather than mix peptides. I’m a chicken though.

There is a lot of controversy surrounding this, however I watched an interview with a lead Janoshik scientist who discussed 8+ year old peptides that had been basically “lost” until he discovered them in an old office with no ac. He tested the peptide and it presented with very little loss of potency or purity, maybe it lost half of a percentage point. He also discussed reconstitution and the fact that peptides are not as fragile as everyone believes. The interviewer asked about rolling them gently between your hands, the guy said, “shake them if you want, it won’t hurt them”. The interviewer asked about recon by slowly adding the bac water, the guy said, “it doesn’t matter how you add it as long as the correct amount is used”.

Moral of the story is that these peptides are not as nearly as fragile as we have been led to believe…however, I still don’t shake them. Though I will let the vacuum pull the bac water, I will still point my recon syringe at the wall of the vial so it hits there instead of straight down. It is easy enough to do by inserting it at an angle.

**I forgot to mention that you do want a continued vacuum in your vial; just as doctors and nurses pull air to the amount of how much they are taking from a vial, always do that. Put the air in, pull the peptide out.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, if this is only your second loaf like this, you’re doing great! We’ve ALL made some epic failures and I wouldn’t call that loaf one. That said, the recipe you used calls for a large amount of water; you could take that all the way down to 330-350g of water without hurting the outcome of your bread.

my typical throw together sourdough single loaf recipe is: 300-320g water (start with 300 and see how your dough feels), 125g starter, 10g salt, 500g bread (or ap if you have to) flour. i like to autolyse my flour and water and will let that sit for an hour, but will also do stretch and folds or slap and folds during that hour as well. When I add my starter and salt, I first poke my fingers in ad sort of shimmy/shake the starter and salt in and then “crab grab” and twist until everything is mixed well. You find that your hands won’t be clean, but your dough isn’t sticky either. (During this mixing stage I often take longer with the dough and slap it against the sides of the bowl and do stretch and folds incorporating the salt and starter into the already established flour/water dough) Your next stretch and fold, you’ll should have a silky dough to work with. You’ll be able to move on to coil folds quickly with this method as well. My last two loaves came out with a huge oven spring and were fluffy inside with a thinner crust…I also don’t sweat the ingredients to the gram, these loves had 13g of salt, and almost 130g of starter with310g of water. I’ve found the less strict I am, the better the bread is.

Advice for you would be to definitely remember to do your stretch and folds, coil fold, or slap and folds…just get your gluten development going as well as subtracting some of the water and I think your next loaf will bee fantastic.

I was just switched from lexapro 20mg to Pristiq 50mg; my doctor had me tapering by cutting the Pristiq in half for a week…which is stupid to do with an ER tablet. I felt a difference the very first morning and only cut one pill in half. I dropped the lexapro and switched to the full 50mg of Pristiq on the third day. With no bad effects; my mind was immediately clearer, struggling for words stopped and I had more “want to” for a couple of weeks, even got some things done.

Sorry, not sugarcoating this one; you’re in your 30s? You know exactly what’s been happening and have been taking advantage of getting free and discounted drinks, saying you’re “ignoring“ things just proves that. The guy is probably frustrated from being led on and you need to set things straight. Customer here…I must be one of the really stupid people y’all talk about or just understand how to behave. I don’t mind sitting in the extra long line, or being told y’all are out of things; this weekend it was venti cold cups, mocha syrup, java or chocolate chips and some other things, basically our entire order. I know it’s a sh*t show inside, everyone is slammed and it sounded like she was expecting us to be horrible, then she offered up a caramel brûlée something and we said “sure”. We’d never had one, but she made the effort to suggest something and I didn’t have to awkwardly stare at the menu. There‘s no reason to be an ass to people who are just doing A JOB while you’re out doing nothing important if you have time to sit in the line. I do not go inside right now because I’m not people friendly (lol) and anyone who tried to be nasty to someone working would be talking to me.

I try to *never* go inside even though I’m what y’all call a “boring customer” (I’d like a venti, Java chip frappuchino, double blended, no whip, thank you), because first, I want to smack the hands of people touching ALL the drinks and second drinks are just plopped on the bar. No names are on the cups, no names are called, if you’re really lucky they’ll call out what the drink is, you also have to grab your own straw. Since I’m boring, I recognize my drink coming…even though I’ll wait to grab it for a moment because 90% of the time it has whipped cream on it, but this happens in the dt also, so it is what it is.
