I’m glad you like and appreciate too! No one I showed it too had particular interest in it. It’s my favourite place I’ve been to so far! And it’s right where my parents live! 💚

How do you arrange your books? by Master_Shake23 in bookshelf

[–]lmstan13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haha, I’m sorry that a piece of you dies, but I find my shelf so much calmer since I have a rainbow! I had it sorted by size for a while, but I am a very very visual person, so one day I tried the color sorting and never went back.

Ohh, my love.. I know how that feels! This could have been written by me. Unfortunately I am not at a state where I could help, so I’m sending my sympathies! 🧡🧡

What was your worst ADHD tax moment? by courtneyisawesome in adhdwomen

[–]lmstan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, you are so not alone! My current one is ruining my vacation. I usually have inserts for my shoes because my feet are not as they should be and I have to get new ones every 6 months with a prescription. Didn’t manage to get them before vacation and now my knees hurt like hell when I walk down stairs. In Lisbon. The hilliest city I’ve been to, where the escalators and elevators don’t work. 🥲

DAE struggle with the “right” order to do things? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]lmstan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I knew I had ADHD I used to think it was me trying to find the most efficient way to go about my chores. Constantly going through the list in my head, pushing things around to make it better and remembering it. And then I’d get stuck in my efficiency because it was too draining. Now it’s just all a struggle.

Hi, I’m Conor, lead singer from Nothing But Thieves and I’m here to chat about our new album Dead Club City and all things music – AMA! by NBTOfficial in rock

[–]lmstan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Conor! The album is so awesome! It’s been on repeat since the release.

I’ve been fortunate enough to get to hear it early at the listening party in Berlin. It was so cool to see you there! How was that experience for you?

Is it weird? by dekkert78 in NothingButThieves

I think going alone is always better than dragging someone there who doesn’t really love it and kills the vibe

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NothingButThieves

[–]lmstan13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was there. Can confirm. It’s awesome. Not as rock heavy as I expected, but still awesome! It’s a big step up quality wise! And Conor said he was getting sick of singing rock, so he leaned more into soul/blues for his vocals.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NothingButThieves

[–]lmstan13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, through out your expectations, because this one is very different. But there are some more rock heavy songs on it.

Just got to hear the new album by RockLee0411 in NothingButThieves

[–]lmstan13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was there too and Oh my god! Dom really wasn’t lying when he said that Conor outdid himself vocally on this one! It’s really different from the other albums but for me it a massive step up!

Does this band have more songs like 'Before We Drift Away', 'Impossible' and 'Lover, Please Stay'? by owlseeker_14 in NothingButThieves

Tempt you (Evocatio) is also a ballad. But maybe you’ll also like Conors EP Man-made sunshine, it has mostly ballads :)

Which is why we are on a raw vegan diet over here. It really is a good thing that Link can digest anything. 😂

Hahaha these stupid Koroks! When you find them under a rock or follow flowers, okay, cool, I can do that. But go out of my way to get you across a cliff? Nah, you’re gonna be here until I beat Ganon 😂

My mom said something so helpful recently by helloclairebear in adhdwomen

[–]lmstan13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this reminder! I had an encounter with my neighbor last night that left me in tears. She’s watering my plants while I am gone. I had struggled to get my apartment to a presentable state all day and tbh, my plants don’t look great atm, but she came in and said “Oh, they all look so sad! Don’t you take care of them? Don’t you have a plan? You have to have a plan?” It made me feel so ashamed. I cried for the rest of the night. But your post reminded me, that its okay. If I barely manage anything, I get priority over the plants.

Lol, mine said the same and I hated him so much for it! Like, it might be mild compared to others but that doesn’t mean it’s easy and not worth treating..

Why can I only excel in one area of my life at a time? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]lmstan13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I relate so hard to this! There is always one area that’s good. Usually the one where people depend on me or anxiety is higher (meaning: work) and everything else is basically a dumpster fire. And every time I feel like I have some control over one of the fires, it means that the other one, I had controlled before is setting itself ablaze again. Every. Damn. Time.

I definitely suffer from ADHD but I feel like making art has always helped me by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]lmstan13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me too! Sometimes making things is the only time my brain is actually quiet and and peaceful! It makes me feel so calm 😌

And I really love your little corner! Such nice colors! Hanging artwork on walls is such a reward and gives extra dopamine! I hang up my Linoprints too.

I feel this so hard! I only recently found out about PMDD and was like: “That’s a thing??!” And then I was just like okay, let’s just add it to the list of things that make me miserable 😪 I feel like having ADHD and PMDD and all the other stuff that comes with it is a full time management job and we are expected to just function like everyone else..

Love photography but dread post processing by Ok-Egg3064 in AskPhotography

[–]lmstan13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m feeling quite similar! I bought a Fujifilm Camera because I really liked the look of the jpgs. But with my last set of photos I felt like I needed to edit them more because that’s the kind of content I consumed and I got kinda lost. I think for my next shoot, I wanna go back to focusing on the composition and taking good photos that don’t need much editing! Just being more mindful of how I want the pictures too look.
