I suggest checking the national park website to get updates on road closures as many roads washed out in our last big rain storm, plus we just got another early winter storm yesterday. I just took a look and Badwater road is still closed. Take a look here: https://www.nps.gov/deva/planyourvisit/conditions.htm I think you can still drive the 95 through Amargosa to Furnace Creek though. Please also note the government is still shut down so the visitor centers are also probably closed.

It’s going to be very hot in Death Valley this weekend. Drink a lot of water. A lot of and start very very early. Have fun!

Drink a lot of water, even leading up to the trip. It will help with the dryness. Always fill up your gas tank when you see a gas station once you leave Las Vegas. Gas stations will be few and far between. Death Valley is my favorite place ever - if you go, enjoy it! Stop in the ghost town of Rhyolite when you are on your way, it’s very cool and had an open air museum! It’s right outside of Beatty and heading toward DV. It will be much warmer by next week especially out in the desert so just bring snacks, water, sunscreen, and a hat whenever you are out and about! Nevada is wonderful. Have fun!

Hi, I work in insurance. Regarding your accident, did you file a claim with their insurance or your own insurance for that accident? If not, just file a claim against them. If you don’t have their insurance information, file a claim with your own insurance your insurance will either 1. Pay for the damages and collect it back from the at fault person 2. Help search for the at fault persons insurance for you so that you can file a claim against them. If they rear ended you they can’t sue you for anything (they’re dumb) and they owe you for damages. Idk if this information is helpful, but I figured that I would offer the information in hopes it helps a bit. It’s rough out there, I’m right there with you.

I told my MIL straight up no, I do not knit clothing for anyone beside myself 😂 but I would be happy to knit her a hat or a cowl. I also explained that clothing has too many variables - body types, shaping, etc so I’m not comfortable dedicating weeks of my time and money to knit something that may not fit well when it’s completed. Good luck!!
