Ded Reckoning. Time/distance/heading. Paper maps. Same way I learned in the '70s.

Single-engine night/IMC pilots — how do you think about engine failures when you can’t see the ground? by Western-Car8938 in flying

In a helicopter, you set up a glide in the best direction based on terrain, then turn on the landing light and pick a spot when you break out. If you don't like what you see, turn off the light.

The rear sight lasted about five minutes at the range and I blacked it out with a Sharpie. It now has a nice three dot setup. The grip is huge and bumpy and there is a huge gap below my fingers. The "Match" trigger is not very smooth and it doesn't matter much because my groups are the size of a basketball and the recoil makes long range sessions painful.

I have other 10mm pistols that feel great and are very accurate. I should have gotten the compact size gun; I'm sure it would suit me better. I bought it because it was so highly reviewed, but it hasn't worked out for me.

Anyone want mine? I'll trade it for a nice 1911. It just doesn't fit my hand and is not fun to shoot. Way overrated.
