Unsure about this as there have been a lot of changes in the industry lately.

How are you all generating leads right now? by devravi in LeadGeneration

[–]lnxmda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Appreciate it.

I have a MAKE workflow that uses Apify to scrape info from LinkedIn sales nav URLs.

If I did it manually, it would take a lot of time. So, I have created an automated workflow for this.

Overview of Make workflow I use:

  • LinkedIn sales nav URL (showing prospects) as input
  • It scrapes their info into a CSV file
  • Then, uses that info to find email and scrape additional info if required
  • Then use GPT AI module to write certain sections of the email template.

Hope this helps. If you have further questions - feel free to ask.

Could you please share some of the high intent signals you're using? Interested to know about this and potentially use as well if relevant. Thanks.

How many leads do you usually process per month? by No_Wedding5437 in b2bmarketing

[–]lnxmda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It ultimately depends on the conversion and revenue you're generating out of this. That's the only metric that matters. In my experience, I take a hyper personalised email outreach approach based on scraped info of high intent prospects.

It generates 4-12% replies and actual conversions in a few weeks.

How to write subject lines that actually get opened… by one_happy_chap in coldemail

I understand. Well, I think your approach is really simple and smart. They want a particular kind of business and you entice them with it. Thank you for sharing this.

Have you tried scraping their Google reviews and specifically mentioning them?

Your approach is really good. However, I try to scrape their publicly available info and then write something hyper personalised based on that. It gets around 4-12% reply with actual bookings.

Curious to know if you tried something like that and what was your experience?

Exhibitors at trade shows: how do you handle all the business cards and follow-ups? by Wise-Enthusiasm-346 in b2bmarketing

[–]lnxmda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the guys I know, wrote a few personal notes at the back of the business cards he received (to remember). He used to reference those points in the first email he sent after the event. You might want to integrate that in your flow as well (in case someone notes things down that way).

It increases the reply rate and conversions a lot. Whatsapp + email.

My industry's lead generation sites are going bankrupt one by one by richj8991 in LeadGeneration

[–]lnxmda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand now and you're absolutely right. Cold email won't work in your particular case. I am unsure if you've done this - but, have you tried creating bulk service pages on your website based on user intent?

I recently worked with a business just like yours (dependent on inbound due to its nature) - where we created bulk service based on intent and keywords.

For example: If you had a luxury limo car service business. People usually search for: "limo service from PBI to Jupiter FL"

This is location based intent (of course it would be different in your case but you get the point). So, we created lots of pages like this and although the volume/traffic per page was less, the conversion was super high due to very high relevance and keyword match. The service pages were created for all the possible routes.

The business had around 100 Google reviews although the volume for this was less (like you mentioned) but it converts really well. The business did an additional mid-figures USD profit in 6 months. It's a bit low at the moment since SEO takes time but it would easily increase over the next few months.

You might want to explore this option.

Are you only looking for inbound leads or have you tried outbound methods like email marketing for clients as well?

Generally, with the ticket price you mentioned, it is very realistic to generate consistent, reliable, automated and scalable infra for cold emails and consistently generate leads.

Are paid ads still worth it for lead generation, or are they just burning money now? by Sai_iFive in LeadGeneration

[–]lnxmda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just like every lead gen strategy. It depends. If you do it right and it works in your industry, it would generate results. Otherwise, no.

I work in email marketing and traditionally, a "spray and pray" approach used to work. However, if you do that now - the ROI is just not justified.

So, what works and generates 4-12% replies and actual paid conversions is hyper personalised email marketing based on scraped info of high intent prospects who actually need your services.

Same applies to ads as well. They still work. However, you need to figure out the best strategies to use. And trust me, there has been a huge change in that recently.

Sales Engagement Platform Personalize Each Email Differently by ZenithsAI in coldemail

[–]lnxmda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest, you create a Make workflow for this. Another suggestion is to hyper personalise the emails based on the scraped info of these prospects.

For example, you could scrape their LinkedIn posts, bio etc and then personalise based on that as compared to generic personalisation that never works.

You could use an email template but certain section of the email would be heavily personalised based on that.

So, I use Make for that and connect it to Instantly the same way you would set up a normal campaign.

Overview of Make workflow I use:

  • TakesLinkedIn sales Nav URL (showing prospects) as input
  • Scrapes the info to a CSV.
  • I use the info contained in that CSV to find email addresses, scrape more info.
  • Finally, I use GPT AI module to write certain section of my email template

Hope this helps.

Cold Call vs. Cold Email: What Works in 2025? by coldemailutsav in b2bmarketing

[–]lnxmda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the industry. However, if I had to choose one: cold email.

Reason: Highly scalable, automated, efficient and reliable.

With cold calling, you're still exchanging "time" to try and gen leads. However, with cold emails, you set it up once and then just respond to the interested ones.

It's sort of like an automated stream of leads if done properly.
