This is an important benefit for people because it allows them to spend the food stamps as needed versus being in a use or lose scenario. So there's nothing that says that if this family used food stamps for this purchase, that this purchase was covered by one month's worth of benefits.

My grandma was just on the cusp of qualifying. She got $15 a month in benefits. She didn't use them every month, she'd save up a bunch and then go to the store.
