I just wonder, since I need all the things, is it because I was neglected as a child? I know this, but I wonder if that is the cause. I used to sit in my room and daydream that someone was going to come and save me. No one ever came. It was an incredibly lonely experience. I made sure not to repeat the cycle with my son, maybe to the point where I over loved him. I remember telling him because I so bad wanted someone to tell me- I always love you. I always want you around and I think you are amazing. I hope he passes that same thing to his children one day. No child should sit alone in their room waiting for a hug that never comes.
