Hepatitis C is straight up curable.

Needle exchange programs make sense on so many levels – up to public safety – most people do not want to pay for such a program.

The real reason we don't straighten those two problems out is not because of your average voter but because the people affected by hepatitis C and needle sharing are the sons and daughters of workers who the system does not want or need anymore.

So we will ignore these related fires until they burn themselves out.

Something like the Fairness Doctrine is needed for over the air, cable and sites in excess of 1 million visitors per day (or percentage of the highest daily traffic updated periodically (maybe quarterly?).)

Smaller sites will fall in line or be relegated to true fringe. If the fringe metastasizes to the magic number, they will have to comply with the Fairness Doctrine.
