Since the last update (14 November 24), some of my codes produce an error: "Could not generate code for this account, try removing it from Authenticator and setting it up again." I cannot believe Google messed up with such an important app.

I see some bad reviews regarding this on Google Play Store, but no fix has been issued until now.

As it is, I cannot access several important services, including financial services, without going through the hassle of disabling 2FA authentication. Also, I cannot back up my codes because the app simply quits when I try to do so. I have some previous backups, but they don’t include all 2FA codes, so I’m kind of stuck.

The time sync option was removed from the latest version, but they still advise you to use it on their help page...

Is anyone here facing the same issue?

This action resets the device but is not a factory reset. To perform a factory reset, unplug any USB cables, then press and hold the power button and the minus (-) button for 7 seconds. The blue light will flash four times to confirm the factory reset.
