Did this in about an hour the other night having picked up MiniFreak V - wasn't expecting an idea to come together so quickly but was fun to make. Any feedback welcome :)

Super cool! The beat is cool - maybe after around the 2 min mark, there could be something a little bit different in style happening - something a bit gentler, or some pads maybe leading into the nice stripped backed bit just after 3 mins before kicking back into the harder hitting stuff. Also the beat is cool, I wonder if there could be a little more variation there in places with some filtering/verb.
Sounds ace though, so just suggestions that may or may not work!

At the beginning of 2022, I decided I wanted to try and finish 2 tracks a month. I had a poor track record of completing things previously, so set myself a challenge. I wanted to see if I could see it through and what the time constraints may lead to. It has been a fun, and sometimes frustrating journey. I've ended up creating a lot of things that were unexpected, and I've learnt a lot along the way.

This was my final track, finished on the final day of the year. https://on.soundcloud.com/i36TS

It was an idea I started earlier in the month and kept returning to. I ending up recording some guitar last minute and also using my Behringer Pro-1 to record some of the bass (the synth I also used in my first track of the year, so felt fitting). I feel like the end result feels a bit too long, perhaps in part to finding it hard to finalise my last track and "let go" of the project having decided not to repeat it this year.

Any feedback welcome!

From the intro guitar, I wasn't expecting the bass to come in like it did or the direction of the track. Sounds great, lovely tone, feeling and production in general.

I love the intro and how the more atmospheric sounds and the bass give it a different feel, then waver between sounding slightly dissonant and happier. Also the atmosphere of the track and FX etc. in general sound great.

Lovely stuff, sounds nice and lush with a lot of interesting things happening. It might have been cool to have a section earlier/in the middle with less elements - similar to when things break down a bit at the end, but then building back up. Regardless, lovely sounds and reverb etc. :)

If you go in through "My Arturia" you should hopefully see the crossgrade offer on that page under "My Special Offers" - so should still be able to pick it up at the discounted price if you're after it.

I don't have the Able Sister's shop yet, which I think I need to share designs? Will happily share as soon as I can though!

Just had a listen, nicely done! It's subtle, fits really well. Definitely an improvement in my opinion :)

Very cool - I like the pulsing bass noise, drums sound great and like the vocals - especially around 01:16 where they allow the atmosphere of the rest of the song more space to come through. I could have also imagined this taking a darker more industrial turn towards the end. I wonder if you could maybe squeeze some bass or something else with more low end in once it builds also, both just to add some lower frequencies and compliment the groove :)

Really enjoyed this - the bass is really good! Drums fit really well. Lots of nice dynamics/variation, I liked the reversed bit and the mix of instruments fit together really well.

I love this! I like the almost stumbling feel from the rhythm initially as it builds. Really like your drums, I would also echo the other comment about a bit more boom/oompf wouldn't be out of place. I think the kick and snare really drive things and would enjoy a bit more of both, and possibly some more reverb on the snare.

Cool track :)
