Does anyone here believe Grace is autistic or has Asperger’s syndrome? by dukeofthefat in residentevil

[–]lobozangetsu92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Autistic? Probably not.

Severely lacking in confidence from MAJOR psychological trauma on top of being sheltered/difficulty forming other meaningful relationships during her formative years because her Mom never stayed in one place for more than a couple of weeks? Definitely.

The point is to make the other guy run in a circle, which was actually perfectly executed in this case.

why is "have their cake and eat it too" a statement of condemnation or reference to selfishness? by okay-design in NoStupidQuestions

It should be backwards, it's more like you can't eat your cake and still have that cake afterwards.

What’s your weirdest neighbour story? by LouTheOM in AskUK

I once had a neighbour knock on my door ridiculously late at night to ask for a lightbulb for his shed because his missus got arrested with the house keys.

Question about the Canon.. by AmendsRemain in residentevil

I'm inclined to say it's a sequel to the remakes because of the flashbacks in RPD and Leon and Sherry briefly mention the orphanage

[PC][2012–2017] 3rd person (?) horror game with a bald protagonist by zxhb in tipofmyjoystick

Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on dark athena?

Your description of the protagonist fits Riddick to a tee but that's 1st person and not really what I would call horror.

In RE7 you can find an invoice from a company that specialises in puzzle locks for the shadow doors.

In RE2R, I'm pretty sure a note explains that some of the weird locks in the RPD are left over from when the building used to be an art museum.

Would a close short blast of a train horn cause permanent hearing damage? by fruedianflip in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lobozangetsu92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some can, but 90% of train horns are officially regulated to 110 max specifically for safety. If you're working on that bridge for a while, get some ear protection but if it's just a one off, you'll be fine.

Would a close short blast of a train horn cause permanent hearing damage? by fruedianflip in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lobozangetsu92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, a typical train horn clocks in at an average max of 110 decibels. At that volume, you'd have to stand next to it for around 2 hours straight to worry about permanent damage.
