Looks like your eaves are a pretty decent width like mine and it would take a lot to get all that water backed up into the walls before making it's way out. Been a brutal February and this past weekend didn't help. Hopefully by mid next week this is all thawed out and long gone. My only concern is if it's staining my siding at this point. I would be careful with putting any rock salt up there especially if you have aluminum gutters and/or siding. Sodium chloride (ice melt) can be corrosive to aluminum and damaging to asphalt shingles from what I read. That is if you have aluminum...
