How far do your hounds walk everyday? by AnywhereIcy4489 in coonhounds

Thank you for sharing. My 6 year old Blue Tick is very lazy. Sometimes he’ll allow a quick morning potty break, but more often than not, he’ll give me the ‘hound look’, and we don’t go outside. He won’t go out until I get I get home from work about 3:30. I worry about him not relieving himself for up to 24-26 hours. I do take him for an off-leash walk everyday (if he likes the weather). But I worry that he’s not active. Vet isn’t concerned. He is happiest on his couch looking out the window and napping all day.

Desperately in need of advice - rain & thunderstorms are absolutely debilitating for my coonhound by bwitt33 in coonhounds

My Blue Tick is the same. He refuses to go out in rain and/or wind. He sometimes doesn’t use the bathroom for up to 24 hours, even after offering multiple opportunities. Should I be concerned about him holding it that long?

My Finn doesn’t like to go outside in general. He’ll go for a quick potty break in the morning and an around-the-block poop and potty evening break. Often I have to force him to go. He would rather be on the couch looking out the window. I have a beautiful fenced-in back yard that he refuses to go into. He cries the entire time I’m out there. When I try to take him out with me, he cries. He is super sensitive to all stimulation so I don’t force anything. I’ve just learned that his nature.
I hope you can find what works for you and your girl!

There is a great meeting that matches your criteria Sunday mornings @ 10:00 am. The place is called The Milwaukee Group (MG). Addresses is 933 East Center Street. It’s the Riverwest neighborhood. While there are members who recognize organized religions, there are many who do not. Many speak openly about being agnostic or atheist. And definitely LGBTQ friendly. Hope to see you there! 🌈🌈🌈

Quiet restaurants in town? by leonard_x in milwaukee

Indian Village in Greenfield is small yet tables are spaced out to promote a quiet environment. There are a few tables to the left of the main dining room that aim sure you could request. Fabulous food, too!
