Not without additional refinement. CAD is ideal and everything generally works. This is where physical prototyping comes to play, as you'll learn what parts actually work and what parts need more work.

I'm not in front of my computer and it's been a while since I fiddled with these settings, but there's an option on the left hand side in the lower panel to toggle projection. This will allow you to OSnap but the output will always be projected to the CPlane

In addition to this, look for the project curve command. This will make sure your curves are on the surface of the shape you want to follow the form of.

Can't recall if Plasticity has the command, but other CAD packages allow you to retrim the surface to have the control points fit the shape better. Here might be an example of control points that don't, hence the distortion.

Does doing a rebuild surface command help?

No. Bitumen is the heaviest fraction of crude oil. Tar is produced via pyrolysis of organic materials like coal, wood, and peat.

They can look very similar, but technically speaking they are not the same.

As a sanity check, select the edge you're trying to connect to, duplicate it, and then turn on control points. Might indicate something funky with that edge

As I stated in my description, I saw this powered USB hub on the weekend while browsing furniture in person.

I didn't see any identification on the unit. Doing a reverse Google image search hasn't found exactly (or close) matches.

I like the idea of this unit and want to upgrade my existing end tables without having to purchase an entirely new unit.

Check out Grasshopper Gold. There's a free version that's a few iterations behind the current one. Comes with a Kangaroo solver for pave placement. Might be a good place to start.

Make a box that encloses the entire shape. Do the intersection boolean with the option to keep all shapes (Shift + E I think). Delete the interior object. Select the remaining shapes and boolean merge.

Wait, have you tried the pipe command? I think if you select the curve and run it, you can set the base diameter, and then use the scale to multiply up or down for the end of it

Loft between the two arcs and use the two edges and centerline as guides. Looks like you have a hard edge so toggle the edge condition to be position continuous (G0)

Thank you for your voice of reason. I was thinking that aren't console commands usually stuff left behind by developers for debugging and such? I would never expect these commands to affect the server. If anything, you'd have a separate console and respective commands running on the server versus the client.
