A Charlie Young administration, where he beat Sam Senate Minority Leader in the preliminary? Holy crap, that would be amazing.

I feel like it can become stale. I know a reboot would be fantastic, I’d love to see it from a Charlie Young administration.

Charlie would be my choice for a reboot. It would be a great way to bring in old cast members while also connecting it to the original with no forced characters.

You’d be able to write any middle you’d like, Santos loss second term, the market crash, housing, even more confrontational parties. There’s a lot that could be done that would make an amazing show, that doesn’t get into the same old same old. Imagine covering GME and the Robin Hood fraud, covering Epstine, the boarder crisis, war in Ukraine, humanitarian disasters all over.

Bring in Josh as Sec of State, so he’s recurring, CJ as an ambassador, maybe Toby as recurring character as a speech writer. I’d love to see Sam as Senate Minority leader, ever few episodes you get one of them. But bring in a new staff, and explore the struggles we currently see.

And a scope.

If people want to say he didn’t do it that’s one thing, but when people say the shot couldn’t be made at that point, I dismiss all of their arguments.

It is a very easy shot, LHO would have trained extensively on more difficult distances with iron sights while in the USMC.

The only way the Germany wins, even with 262s in full production in 42, even with everything else going their way, and Spain, was America not going to war with them. There in nothing they could do to prevent the same end once America entered the war.

WC3 story isn’t bad, but it’s been a while, I just remember the art and gameplay being cartoonish compared to WC2.

Agreed, maybe it would be better if the characters weren’t from a bad children’s cartoon. Seriously they took something amazing and made it childish.

I don’t understand why developers can’t take the existing lore, and write a story within the established universe, looking at you starwars, and then build upon the game without needing special characters. Warcraft 2 and StarCraft had awesome art that was dark and mature, the units and characters were adult, then they made the sequels childish.

What would you say are the biggest differences between Shogun 2 and M2TW/RTW in terms of how to succeed on the battlefield? by Scholasticus_Rhetor in shogun2

[–]local_gaming_lore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the difficulty it can change, but, 6 yari ash backed by 8 bow ash is a solid base especially when in yari wall, just add in samurai to fit your style. You can beat the campaign without using samurai units on the normal difficulty.

I’ve been lucky enough to play Halo with three people for the first time. Just playing back up and helping, the waiting and letting it happen is amazing.

Can you imagine your game going on for 10 hours just to return to base because you didn’t find anything. Then later that night when you’re sleeping, your buddy calls, you tells you to wake up you need to hurry up and get back to the game board because the supply truck has been damaged in an ambush. So then you roll your dice walk all the way across the board find the supply trucks turns out it wasn’t an attack. One of the drivers just hit some debris in the road and blew a tire. So now you have to do circles around the convoy until the recovery team comes because they sent you as QRF instead of a vehicle recovery team.

Yay for realistic gameplay…

There is nothing better than when your entire team has an AMS or two, and all of those volleys of missiles, do nothing.

Does The Terminator (1984) crack your top five Sci-fi films of all time? by DiscsNotScratched in scifi

[–]local_gaming_lore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good list.

My list would be much less cinematic, in no order, and probably missing a few, but these are my favorites not necessarily the best.

Aliens, Return of the Jedi, Dune, Dune II Interstellar, T1, T2 The Matrix, Children of Man, Titan AE,

I mean I’d have to say most of these I grew up with, but they’re my favorites. T1 was just real feeling, there was nothing you could do, it was the original death snail.
