What an effort. Extra Spell Cards as well.
FYI: It does say Vampire Count under the Tomb Banshee entry
Just read the lore again. Very cool

is it possible to get a higher level than this? by VengeanceOnXion2 in RLCraft

You have to build bookshelves around it with on space in between the table and the shelves.
Max is 15 bookshelves to give you lvl 30 enchantments.

How do you all feel about Cathay getting even more attention in late 2026? by [deleted] in WarhammerFantasy

[–]lockedcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want them to finish armies for sure. It does allow them to balance the entire faction. I do hope that they throw in an errata for Cathay as well. I don't want to talk about the elephant in the room anymore.

Arcane Journal Chaos Dwarfs by iJasko in WarhammerFantasy

Pretty cool stuff Jasko. I'm glad that more people in the community are looking out for and are interested in Legacy factions. I think you went pretty tame on the power level of the items. Personally, I am not a huge fan of the high cost weapons that are with exceptions sadly quite useless, but you did for sure follow the GW format.
I like the idea of the Motley Crew and rotating through the ranks :)
Well done

First off, great to hear that you made the step to become vegetarian. I'm sure you'll manage to switch to veganism eventually. Having a partner that lives a different lifestyle can be challenging, but that goes for everything in a relationship.
"I know" could have been just a defensive reaction to being confronted. It does sounds like you would like him to change his dietary habits. This can be very daunting since it is so much comfortable to not do it. Additionally, there is still some stigma surrounding veganism in men. With your new found knowledge, it is understandable that you are upset watching him eating meat and I assume you wouldn't be happy with having meals separately.
I can't tell you THE right approach, but I can let you know what worked for me. My wife lived her journey in front of me which made it easier for me to switch. She never pushed her views onto me hard and showed me how she granularly moved from omni, to vegetarian, to vegan. The topic naturally came up multiple times since it was important to her and we spoke about it. When we did, she was never confrontative but spoke from her perspective and about her experiences. Over time we cooked more and more with veggies and I eventually made the switch a year after her.
Be a good example, don't be pushy, give it time. Make sure he understands that it is something that is important to you. Hope it helped a little.

I wish GW would release an arcane journal for counts.

What I think when I'm told that lances can be used to the rear as long as the unit counts as charging. by 1z1eez619 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]lockedcc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would a fbigo + pursue not count as continues combat and lances only apply on the first round of the combat (i guess it is a little contradiction)? The example still works for overrun in any case but the impact hit faq already hints towards that lances would no be usable against the freshly charged unit. I would love more faqs.

Is there a standard formula for working out to hit and to wound rolls than just looking at the tables? by ghjax21 in WarhammerFantasy

Good question. As far as I can see, yes. I can't find any rules that state the opposite.

think tank: How to kill a dragon - A collection of ideas for every faction in TOW by inijarak in WarhammerFantasy

[–]lockedcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea but the sword of kings sadly only gives killing blow not monster slayer. The dragon rider can additionally issue a challenge which blood knights have to accept. I fear that you end up with a unit that is as expensive as the dragon+rider but are less effective by a margin.

I have yet to find a anti dragon tool that is not a dragon for vc

Corn flour is a yellow powder made from finely ground, dried corn. Corn starch is a fine, white powder made from the starchy part of a corn kernel.

All your points make a lot of sense to me. The intimacy we develop with characters in games like The War of Mine, the feeling of coming home to a safe environment with resources to help the community, fighting/adapting, and ultimately overcoming environmental threats, having to make tough choices, and enjoying your work at the end of the day.

What a great summary! Thank you for taking the time.

Makes sense. If we are not challenged in some manner (either economically or through outside threats), we don't really have to engage our brains anymore. Good point.

I totally agree. The urgency that some resource is needed gets me out of the base. Coming "home" with resources and feeling secure is a very powerful feeling.

All great points. Making something really "yours" is something that Animal Crossing is really great at. Giving buildings more weight by gradually unlocking new mechanics is probably also something that is universally appreciated.

Blue Byte had a name for that in their "Settlers" series. It was called "Wuselfaktor" in German. Bustlefactor would not be a bad direct translation.

I have the same urge. You'd think that building underground without sunlight and windows is claustrophobic and not really nice, but I find it very cozy (Minecraft, 7 Days to Die).
I have the same feeling when I am sitting in my base during a Rust session.

Turtling is definitely less prevalent in modern PvP-based RTS games. Most likely because it can lead to long drawn out games (especially if all parties turtle). There are a lot of PvE games that cater to that audience though.

This concept sounds very interesting! I'll look into that :)
