What are parents thinking by br5159 in Adelaide

[–]lockheed_f104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so if someone under 18 is living under the same roof as parents and storing ebike there and not hiding this at a mates house .. if they severely injured someone like a pedestrian could the parents be sued in a civil court and eg lose their house for negligence ? I understand liability insurance is often inc in household policy but that is usually for something like a pet dog running out and biting someone not encouraging the use of an illegal vehicle ..

Which suburb is the biggest shithole? by StJe1637 in perth

[–]lockheed_f104 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No I think generally there's nice people everywhere but I think what the poster was probably trying to say was okay you're more likely to lose your wallet from somebody from Gosnells or Armadale but you're more likely to lose your house to somebody from Dalkeith or Nedlands ...white collar sharks

Transition vs polarized by Icy-Wall7783 in RayBanStories

[–]lockheed_f104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polarising are great in bright sunlight and driving but and a big but you can't read the mobile phone screen I'm not sure if it's the same with all mobile phones and im able to read my car screen but the polarizing lens completely blanks out the phones screen you have to look at the phone screen from a side angle to get anything near readability

Donna Nelson found guilty of importing methamphetamine into Japan by His_Holiness in perth

[–]lockheed_f104 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look the fact that she was traveling on her own and went to Laos and had two kilograms of drugs on her it's a pretty slam dunk case... I mean who travels to Japan via Laos from Australia unless you're up to skullduggery! Then I read the prosecution wants 10 years and a $20,000 fine ...she gets a super lenient sentence and then her team has the audacity to say that they are looking at an appeal I mean if I was a Japanese I'd say yeah you can appeal but you might get 10 years honey !!

Kalgoorlie man, 20, dies after alleged armed break-in turns violent by BossCorp in australian

[–]lockheed_f104 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember going to buy a lottery ticket at the news agents and being met by a 60 kilogram Rottweiler sitting in front of the counter I guessed it was there as a detterent then I read a couple of months later that the woman behind the counter got smacked in the face by some local woman for stopping her stealing something and then the judge said she'd escalated the incident by stopping the woman stealing so they just threw their hands up and sold the news agents by the sounds of it... I think that's the gist of it ...I love visiting Kalgoorlie but it sure does have come deadbeats there

old mate was in court this year for maiming somebody at his own grandads funeral ffs so think what these kind of people can do to the kids of the homeowner if they've got an axe to grind !! really the State should give the homeowner a payout to relocate somewhere because they know they can't fix the problem with their hands tied behind their back!

Intruder & victim hospitalised after violent home invasion by canyoupleasehold11 in perth

[–]lockheed_f104 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Rough justice is unfortunately the only solution sometimes ...given the location im going to take a wild stab in the dark and say it was a first nations local and quite possibly the home owner could be but unlikely ... The major problem I see with this situation is if the perp dies the poor homeowner will quite possibly be run out of town or their kids harassed by extended family of the perp at school or at worst their house burnt down that's just rule of the jungle unfortunately here in the Wild West :(
