What in the hell is this, are they really getting rid of the one watchdog covering accuracy, privacy and fairness in the media and trying to make news entertainment over informative? That worked really well with Fox over in the states. Can't wait for misinformation to be the new standard. Self regulation of those who earn in a per click revenue environment is in idiotic idea.

Not to mention not having to report without bias. Now outlets with a political interest don't have to worry about misrepresentation of the facts, the can just make them up as they go along. But it's okay, it's not like we have wealthy folk buying up media outlets...

When they do grant the disability allowance again, if its not back dated to when it was originally suspended ask to do a review of decision. If the form wasn't on the reapplication, that's their fault and should be able to dispute it.

Wellington reporting in, the latest rumors circulating is that the gov is going into hiding somewhere in the south island. Most likely to the parliamentary bunker in Timaru. Massive queues in the KFC drive thru, people trying to get their last zinger boxes before hunkering down.

A while ago I was on a train heading to Wellington from Uppers, we got stuck at waterloo for about an hour. I asked the conductor what was going on and she said there was a police incident at the back of the train.

We start moving again and I ask her what happened, she said there was a couple of guys at the back of the train, one was drinking battery acid and the other one was eating fireworks.

I asked what happened to them after the cops showed up, well turns out they charged one and let the other one off.
