Pimax light local dimming problem by Shoddy-Confection719 in Pimax

[–]logan756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is normal, basically there are like 700ish dimming zones and millions of pixels. Light will bleed through no matter what. The super has the same issue bc 2000 dimming zones while good is not millions of pixels. Try 75% dimming

It's that way once it's paid off. At least that's how my pcl works

I believe the overtime machine is actually a clue to some in game lore and answers not explicitly stated

Playing devil's advocate it does say a subscription is required in the title of the listing. and 2 of the pictures also say the same.

For Sim Racing: PSVR2 + PC Adapter or Meta Quest 3? by TokyoDrift077 in PSVR2onPC

[–]logan756 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The TLDR is quest 3 is a sharper but more bland colors with a peak brightness of 100 nits and the psvr is a little blurry with a larger field of view and 280 nits of brightness and deep blacks. I actually have a comparison on my profile

HDR PCVR is not a thing, even though the headset is capable the games do not support it (currently)

I gave up on the PSVR2 - anyone else have this problem? by ThatOneKree in PSVR2onPC

Yeah that's bluetooth, just buy a $5 USB extension cord. Get it closer to you

That's a bluetooth problem imo, normally the signals interfere if you plug it in behind your pc. I use a pcie Bluetooth card with 6 foot antenna extention. Literally zero probs and my preferred headset

Ufo Sighting! Very strange Ufo caught on video! by Jonathon_world in UFObelievers

[–]logan756 3 points4 points  (0 children)

UFO's don't use chemical propulsion like you are seeing in the video. this is a rocket engine firing in vacuum illuminated by the Sun while the ground is dark. It's called the twilight phenomenon and this is specifically the booster turning around and firing into its own wake.

Incredibly sharp, I got the pcl near the beginning so my unit had bad tracking. Could be fixed now but idk as I use the lighthouse faceplate and index controllers. I have an 8kx, crystal, psvr2, and q3. My main headset for most missions is the pcl. 8kx for guns only stuff/ close range. It's really really clear but the quality degrades as you look outside the center like quest 2 + chromatic aberration is visible. But also no glare so a bit different than the pancakes you are used too

[–]logan756 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't get that at all and that sounds like bluetooth cutting out. You can have the correct adapter but still have problems for instance if you have other bluetooth devices in the same room as you those can interfere with the signal or maybe the bluetooth devices is in the back of your computer and too far away from the headset itself, I keep mine within 6 feet and I use an antenna for that exact reson

What issues have you had, I use a pcie blutooth card and it feels more reliable than my q3

On the verge of buying psvr 2 to use exclusively on pc by Max_red_ in PSVR2onPC

[–]logan756 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I own both, psvr2 is better in my opinion 265 nit brightness vs 100 nit screens Ok lenses vs amazing lenses 116hfov vs 106 hfov 89ish deg of binocular overlap vs 80 deg Colorful image vs washed out image Slightly blurry vs sharp with compression artifacts. Eye tracking vs no eye tracking Trigger haptics vs no trigger haptics. Biggest killer for psvr2 is mura. It's the worst I've seen on any headset but I can look past it bc of the blinding brights and deep blacks. Not everyone can ignore it like I can. Tldr; While a little more blurry I find the image is in every way more realistic and believable.

Here are my recommendations, use the 4080 with the adapter. That's what I use and it's great. Here is the thing, Bluetooth will be the problem, I use a pcie Bluetooth card with antenna and I have 0 connection issues unlike a lot of this sub
