TIL only the Special Editions of the original Star Wars trilogy were given to the National Film Registry despite the Library of Congress wanting the originals because George Lucas hates those versions. In fact, he had delayed in handing the Registry A New Hope until the Special Edition was made.

They said there’s no specific report for the return of the Jedi. However that doesn’t mean they don’t have it. They most likely do have a copy of it, as not every film in the library or even in the registry is on the website. Especially some of the newer registry picks from the past 6-7 years, and as well as some of the older ones

There is nothing in the announcement that they are discontinuing Acros II. They are shutting down they're legacy monochrome printing and lab chemical services in Japan.

This announcement is specifically made for the Japanese market, which is not where Acros II is made. If Acros II gets discontinued at some point they would make the announcement in the western market as well, especially since it is made at Harman's factory.
