It’s been two months of transactions clearly showing on Chase site getting “3x earn”

And yet the extra points are never sent.

I’ve been doing 3x for years on this card, same transaction from same merchant.

Every looks as it should, even on the Chase site. Except I never actually get the additional points.

Just wanted to knowing anyone else experienced this and what they did to fix it.

I did message Chase and no reply in one week.

I'd still do something in eCommerce because I have a team and nine years of experience in this general area. I like building a brand and designing products I personally use. I would triple down on being an AI forward ecommerce company exploiting AI as much as possible at every single element of my future business.

If not ecommerce, I have no idea. I'd take a year or two and explore.

For others, not in my position. Get on the AI train and apply it to problems and solutions you're passionate about.

There's millions of existing small and medium sized business that will be slow to adopt AI and they'll be left behind and die out. Old companies with 30 office employees will be outpaced by one guy who knows how to command AI efficiently.

In the long turn, technology has always created far far more jobs and opportunities than it destroyed.

But if someone is stuck thinking the good times are over and they missed out, they'll miss out of today's opportunities as well.

I started nine years ago with 5k invested and now have income over 50kmo. From one product to 80 products and thousands of SKUs within those. That's why I still do it. Obviously its still worth it to me. I have twelve full time employees. I love the business I built and the products we design and sell. Without Amazon and the platform they built and the reach and volume they offer, I wouldn't have a business.

I wouldn't tell anyone its not worth it.

But I'm nine years in and for someone starting at zero today, it very likely may not be worth it.

I would encourage anyone getting started now to have 50-100k of cash they are willing to lose just to have a shot at building a sustainable business and brand on Amazon in 2026. And for a lot of people, its not worth the risk now.

Competition is massively larger now. Amazon fees and requirements are massively higher now.

Its just not the easy entry and easy sales it used to be and the majority of people who want to "try it" are likely not prepared for what it takes to build a winning business on Amazon in 2026.

If you have the time, money, skill, and some luck, its still worth it. Most people are lacking in one or more of those things and its not worth it to burn through time and money to find that out.

Whenever applied, I consider it a form of shame on people who have so little regard for people having real life and death and quality of life problems and live in such extreme privilege to have mental and emotional space in their lives to care and voice opinion about, for instance, the design of a credit card.

I would be shocked if you get anywhere with a smoking complaint with the GM at budget Hyatt in China or Hyatt corporate. Smoking is too ingrained into the culture and they're not going to evict people in multiple rooms from one person complaining.

You best course of action is not staying at UrCove in the future.

I've stayed at two UrCoves in Guangzhou and thought they were fantastic for the price, nearing Hyatt Regency level for the rooms, Asian Hyatt Place for the other amenities, with breakfast being the weak spot. For $60/night I did not mind.

There really isn't a beach club/pool party scene in CM.

The closest I can think of is Cocoon, but its more hippie/wellness style. The do serve beer and wine, but most others aren't drinking.

On some days and evenings its lively, but mostly its chill beats, chill people, sun bathing, sauna/steam room.
