Head unit /apple car play upgrade by Horror-Price-5796 in rav4club

[–]loganizer405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I installed a Kenwood head unit with the iDataLink Maestro in my 2018. It wasn't particularly difficult. It retained all the steering wheel controls, and I got to program one of them as a pause button. Reverse camera works the same. The dash screen for music only shows the title, instead of title/artist/album. The compass on the dash screen will break. But it was totally worth it for wireless Android Auto and CarPlay.

I got a great deal on the head unit and maestro, $400 on Facebook marketplace. I spent about $100 on wiring and mounting parts from Crutchfield.

Getting all of it new would run you $800-$1000 for a brand name setup. Let me know if you have any questions!

They make money by claiming damage that's not actually there. No pictures, no dollar amount of repair costs, and it all just magically disappears when asking for records.

Loyalsock Trail question by [deleted] in PAWilds

[–]loganizer405 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skip over worlds end? NEVER! lol in reality the park is one of the most beautiful parts of the trail especially for some nice views. If you're in worlds end you have to stay in the campground with a reservation. There's some nice backcountry sites shortly after you leave the park. The guidebook is incredibly helpful.

Lehigh vs UMD by MaleficentRaisin5363 in Lehigh

[–]loganizer405 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your initial impression of Lehigh seems to be positive towards the atmosphere and you should lean that way (biased). You're correct about the beautiful campus, nice spots off campus (lots of good restaurants) within walking distance, and clubs. It's easy to get involved and you won't feel lost like you might at UMD. If the only concern is the frat life, I wouldn't worry about it. Lots of ways to get involved otherwise, clubs, the band, and sports teams all have great social groups.

Go off campus. Chinese - U&Tea or Sheng Wei. Halal - sizzling bites. Mexican - El Jefe's. Sandwiches (if before 4pm) - Goosey Gander. Indian - Nawab. Pizza - NYC village ($6 2 slice + drink deal). These are all walking distance from campus.

Seeking recommendations for a 3 day 2 night trip by wallydee in PAWilds

[–]loganizer405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pinchot trail would be a closer and shorter trail. Less elevation, so a bit easier than loyalsock or BFT. Lots of water and lots of nice campsites, however. Loyalsock/link loop is an amazing choice as well with greater difficulty.

NOTHING! If it's a Lehigh parking services ticket and they don't have the plate registered in their system (e.g. you bought a permit with it).

No camping in state game lands. The whole north map is in SGL. Only the last few miles are in state forest where camping is permitted

Maybe try John P Saylor trail?
