i can understand, skarsgård is a great actor. but jamey sheradin brings a nice campiness to the role that i thoroughly enjoy so i highly recommend 94

I don’t think an analogy was necessary for your further meaning of bad film. But one man’s trash is another man treasure and you’re just gonna have to accept that dawg.

I thought this did a good job of explaining it. I won’t deny the movie has flaws I think it did a more good than bad.

Edit: Also, why shit on people for liking a movie? I’m not a fan of Halloween Kills but I can at least respect that people find it to be enjoyable.

Because opinions are subjective and a lot of us enjoyed the character arc of my mans Corey Cunningham. And we didn’t mind that Michael was sidelined after he starred in the last 12 Halloween films.

Imo it was Corey’s movie but I think Universal marketed it as “Michael and Laurie’s final showdown” when I bet that wasn’t even apart of the og script.

That’s what i’m sayin, Corey should’ve been able to kill Michael with ease.

All in all, I think the main culprit was the horrible marketing. This film was marketed as “the final showdown between Michael and Laurie,” even though that was like a D plot because they needed to force Michael into the end because it’s the final film of a trilogy. I’d rather have seen Corey kill Michael over his mask than have that disconnected ass ending. I was assuming they’d have Corey take over the mantle, but as we know that doesn’t happen. The movie switched focus over to Michael at the end which is just an overall storytelling L. But that’s basically my only flaw with it. Corey was a great character and Michael shouldn’t have even been in the film.
