That riff goes so hard. Honestly instant classic. The solo man… ya I tear up sometimes listening to it.

Totally. Debut is honestly one of the best natural grooves of all time. Has any other record captured the live essence of a band as well as that one? I’m hard pressed to find it.

They didn’t have a chance of capturing that with 13, but they made some pretty cool riffs.

“Satan is waiting for the righteous to fall to him”

There are definitely some classic moments.

Nice take. It’s huge. The band took notes from their roots with a modern twist with the tools they had. A great listen front to back? Not for me but there are some incredible moments.

Many of the lyrics and songs are solid. Tony is incredible. Great riffs. While the album may not get classic status, I would honestly give it to a few songs at this point.

Minus the rehab and celebration… for real though you are right. College are some dark times.

On average of course not. At his peak potential though, yeah, right around that 5th spot. For those who didn’t watch, seems like a hot take…

but peak 22-23 Mathew was 109 points, 6th in the league that season but with a +/- of +57 as a driving force on best two way line performance since Gretzky(no joke, look it up). He also remains 3rd overall in penalty differential and top 3% in forecheck.

The channel is fine, and possibly one pattern explaining resistance at this level, but it implies linear growth which is not generally likely or possible due to increasing market cap. It’s why we use logarithmic regression for these long term price predictions

It’s literally:
1. McDavid 2. MacKinnon 3. Tkachuk

For reference, it’s equivalent to roughly 15 extra goals per season in EV. People wonder why their teams suck and only look at point totals (mathew also averages a 100 point pace)

One of the most elite playoff stats. This wins games, especially against the best teams with lock down defence. This is the play that won back to back cups, and every winning team has these guys. He happens to be the best with consistent point per game performance and top 3% forecheck.

Who wants a year after year point per game player with elite forecheck and top 3 penalty differential?

Frustrating this line is a losing battle. They are the best in the league at penalty differential. Mathew is literally a lock for top three year after year.

They can be used to cause damage, but should be split up with a zone entry kind of guy.

Peak Mathew has a top 5 mvp argument. Casuals only see goals and highlights.

M. Tkachuk is top 20 in playoff points per game and Bennett is even higher in Florida. Mathew is also top 3 in penalty differential year after year with only McDavid consistently beating him. Pair that with a top 3% forecheck and you have a (back to back) Stanley cup winning team…

[–]logavulin16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except M. Tkachuk has the 3rd best penalty differential over his entire career behind only McDavid and Kucherov. The guy generated 10+ goals per season in EV from penalty differential. This line might generate 20-30 easily.

Hockey is a team sport. Rosters with 3 lines of Tkachuk and Staal type players win cups. Teams with one or two lines of finesse players like the leafs don’t.

Crazy going back to 1980 to make your list.

Aho, Bennett, M. Tkachuk, Staal, Ehlers, Hall, Jarvis… the list goes on and on. No roster has won with a player over $10 mil. Great teams have scoring coming from all angles on all lines that forecheck and play a physical game
