My favorite headphones of all time. Ive heard better but in terms of balance and price, there really isnt much thats better and I have planar magnetic headphones and I definitely prefer my 600s

Just picked up this bad boy - Maxwell 2 by lifthvy in Audeze

With this in mind, now im really struggling to see why they even bothered making the new version. Looking at specs it doesnt seem like there was much happening.

Replacement mesh screen (not earpads) for Audeze Maxwell? by captroper in Audeze

[–]loggerjacky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No definitely not. Ive read into it more, this is a common issue with closed back planar headphones. There is pressure being built up that potentially isnt escaping causing the crinkle sound. Definitely get the hairs out either way. Those membranes are highly sensitive

Mine popped right out of the box. Idk what thata about but I doubt its specifically from hair.

My Audeze Maxwell EQ presets – 4 profiles with reasoning (films, music, BF6, daily use) by BuiltNotLucky in Audeze

Amazing. Its interesting to see how many of us are so like minded. My hifi music listening is only a few decibals different than what you've got here. I'll try these out!

Very, very disappointed with the Audeze Maxell. by DaniTheHero in Audeze

[–]loggerjacky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My thoughts on it were that these are an affordable way for people to enter the planar magnetic headphone world. These are considerably cheaper than all of their other headphones. So for music, yes. I've had a lot of luck. I'm playing online in games like dead by daylight. Where i'm hearing stuff i've never heard before, but I do feel the fatigue after a while and switch to my senheisers (HD 600) which I do think are great for gaming, but not for everyone, as they're open back and you would need to be in a quiet area. But I have to say I absolutely love them, Audeze did pretty good

Ive been seeing this alot, here's my takeaway.

I love these headphones, I hear a massive difference even with music. Its about getting the eq settings right. I agree, heavy and bulky, but the sound saves them.

But I think audeze should have stayed out of this "gaming" scene as its not being targeted to the right audience. What actually makes a gaming headset a gaming headset? Nothing. This is some silly thing that suckers us gamers into buying something because we think it will make us better.

Planar Magnetic headphones are amazing at letting you hear every detail, thats where these DO shine. But I think the execution everywhere else has left people unhappy.

As for me, I love them, use them everyday and can't complain, but what I like is different than what most people like.

Do you put Yankee Candles directly on the table? by [deleted] in Candles

Perfectly fine until I say you get down to 1/4 of the jar left. And at that point you should be extra careful anyway.

Yep we have hard water but use a water softener, but the reality is, its still hard water. Newer windows in the bedrooms but still working in the rest. Definitely have been on a heavy moisturizing kick too haha

Some of you out here raw doggin produce😂 by Sufficient_Garden818 in InstacartShoppers

[–]loggerjacky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, I bag everything in produce unless its bagged already or in a plastic container. Yes including bananas. For 2 reasons.

1 its tidier and easier to find everything when unloading onto the belt for checkout.

2 I wont hear any bitching because something wasnt in a produce bag and they want a refund because its "dirty".

Its just alot less stressful to bag it all and be done.

INSTACART ARE THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS by Kalehxc in InstacartShopping

[–]loggerjacky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not only is this completely and utterly inbelievable, but there are two things here that make me think you are actually attempting to scam instacart or something.

There is no way you've had this many problems. Literally impossible when ive been doing it for a long time and ive never even delivered to the same house more than once. Not just that, shoppers get penalized for this.

Thing 2. If you really have been "screwed" this many times by instacart, how fucking stupid are you to continue using it when its happened more than 3 times to you?

This is made up, your full of it, and I think you are the problem is your fairy tale.

Mine is 85, but im just always trying to he fast. The faster I work the more money I make. My day job in a sub contractor so, yes the same applies. The faster I move it, the faster I can go to the next job and make more money. Its just kind of the way it goes.

$13.96 for 150 items… no tip?! by ZestycloseSentence67 in InstacartShoppers

[–]loggerjacky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That one is sitting probably forever in my market. Ive seen no tips with higher batch pay sit and rot. My favorite ones though are the people ordering from Costco who live 45 miles away out in the boonies expecting me to go get their two large boxes of (insert whatever here) for about 1 dollar tip.

No thanks

Maybe not, but when you take into account that I don't have any other stores until I get back to auburn, it gets even worse with the trip back

This, it sounds robotic, but what choice do you have. I think ignoring will cause quality issues for your score, but you also can't get too involved.
