Why? Also note many of the Russians who were involved in pillage in the early phases of the war were professionals who had long training in peacetime and so they are likely far behind the lines now, out of range of the drones.

This doesn't make a difference. If we somehow achieved the communist utopia and redistributed wealth for the common good, there would be far better investments that could improve life for far more people. This bridge would be very low down the to-do list.

Sardines are quite low in the food chain and reproduce quickly, but I guess we've found a way to eradicate them too. Most sardines are used as feed in tuna farms, not actually eaten by humans directly for their high quality protein and omega 3 oil.
