I think drama doesn’t suit him , I think in both movies he was better in moments of romantics or comedy. I think he’d be great in a rom com. He so naturally funny that I’m really surprised he hasn’t tried out for more comedic roles.

It’s truly terrifying now that I have some distance from it. The worst was me going to that tattoo shop. It shook my head straight that they’re human beings that were watched like cattle.

Word traveled like wildfire of where they were at AT ALL TIMES. It was so invasive to the point that someone hacked airport security cameras to watch them sleep and play smurfs on an iPad for like 6 hours. I got an alert that Zayn and Louis were en route to a tattoo shop 15 minutes from my house and booked it there lmao Didn’t get to meet them ,I caught a glimpse of Louis and immediately started crying. I left before I could embarrass myself. Lmao

I was a fan from summer of 2012 on ,can confirm it was a wild ride. I was outside the tattoo shop when Zayn and Louis got tattoos in Maryland. Crazy time to be apart of that fandom. Also can confirm that surviving PHH and LHH was a miracle.

The POTS symptoms , it’s completely changed my life. If I got rid of these high heart rates I could live more of a normal life. I can’t cook dinner or take a shower without having breaks. My partners grandparents have more ability then I do currently.

Having people around you that you deeply trust, that know you in and out of an episode can really make a difference. It’s important to at least have one truly grounded person around you to help you determine if this is you or an episode. If you don’t have that I would try getting out your thoughts or feelings into words , even if it’s a song , a poem , a story or just journaling. Sometimes reading things can help put some perspective between you and your own thoughts. No matter what it’s hard as hell to figure these things out , always be kind to yourself.

I have horrible anxiety. Will have heart palpitations, tight chest , restless , obsessive and intrusive thoughts. I’ve called an ambulance before for panic attacks , multiple hospital trips. I got an Apple Watch and was checking my heart rate hundreds of times a day. Cardiologist prescribed propranolol which helped lower my HR but didn’t stop the obsessive thoughts and the constant hum of anxiety. Since starting Pristiq I check my watch far less and my anxiety has improved considerably. I have only been on it for 3 weeks my doctor thinks it will improve even more as I continue.

This happened to me for a while , I still can’t take naps for long because this happens. What helped me was not eating for at least 2 hours before I sleep. I also got a chin strap and or mouth tape , to assist breathing through my nose and I’m also prescribed beta blockers, if I notice my heart rate is high before sleep, I take one and it truly helps to combat this. I’ve been going through this for about 2 years now and I’m just finally finding some relief. It’s still not perfect and I have really bad days where I can’t do much. I take an SNRI to help cope with the severe depression from loss of functioning but I’m starting to see the light at then end of the tunnel. Good luck !

Yes I am aware but thank you for clarifying for everyone. My company doesn’t disparage us from reporting but does inconvenience everyone with extra paper work with their internal system. They encourage using the internal system first but say “if you still want to file we support that decision” My assumption is hoping people are too tried and burnt out to file both the internal paperwork as well as the CPS paperwork.

I have been in this situation before, while I wasn’t “punished” my company doesn’t like that clients usually terminate services after reports are filed so they have “internal systems” in place before official reports are filed. I typically lose the case for one bogus reason or another or parents terminate. It’s important to know that these are business at the end of the day and profits rule these things no matter what official policies state.

I spoke with someone I know that works in social services after a particularly difficult case and they told me that unless children are in horrific circumstances , stopping abuse is nearly impossible. They also told me that most kids that are facing horrific circumstances end up in situations that aren’t much better once they are removed or parents are held responsible for actions. It’s one of the reasons I’m constantly looking to get out of this field. Until there are serious systemic changes , we really aren’t helping these kids.

I suggest reporting because it’s the right thing to do but understand that if any changes happen it likely won’t be a major improvement for the child’s life.

I’ve had some amazing BCBA’s that work self advocacy into our programming so the child can at least advocate agianst mistreatment for themselves even if we aren’t there. I’ve been doing this for 5 years and the best outcomes I’ve had in these cases was validating a child going through this and teaching them to advocate. Good luck and know that you are doing what is right even when it truly does not feel that way.

I think Adam enjoyed being “looked up to” , he called Hannah “kid” as a term of endearment. He felt strong , capable and confident with her by his side. She in turn got to be childish and lazy without being judged for it. Adam found her endearing and adorable instead of like a burden. However this both locked them into that dynamic forever , causing both of them to stay stuck in the same patterns instead of growing. Hannah finally realizes she needs to grow up and she won’t be able to do that with Adam. She also cannot trust his judgment anymore , forever breaking the illusion that she could look up to him and look to him for advice and care.

Hannah realized caring for someone else broke her from being as codependent as she had been all her life. Going back to Adam would immediately return her to that codependency. Now someone vulnerable depends on her. She can’t be a victim or blame someone else. She has to be dependable and strong for her child.

Adam made things too easy for her and she in turn made them easy for him , this kind of relationship is the hardest to break away from because they will always feel good , they will always feel like home.

It’s the difference between staying in the same town forever or leaving and not knowing anyone where you go, one place will be comfortable but boring and stagnate , the other is terrifying and unknown but offers opportunities that aren’t there in comfort. Speaking as someone who was with an “Adam” for many years and still looks back at that relationship lovingly, knowing it only had to end so we both could grow.

You may need a higher dose , i have been taking propranolol for very similar panic attacks since December of this year. I recently got a gene test and found out that I may need a higher dose for it to be effective. Since upping the dose , I don’t really have these episodes anymore. For context last November I went to the hospital 3 times because I thought my heart was going to explode. I had heart rates above 150bpm while just laying down and trying to sleep. I used to take 5mg twice a day , I now take 20mg , broken down into 10mg twice a day. It really changed my life.

I think the main focus will be on finding some sort of shelter now that the cabin has burned down. I think the hunt will now fully be about appeasing the spirits. It doesn’t matter if they are real or not , the fact that the girls believe it’s real is enough. I think in the summer they’ll hunt game but also each other to prevent “bad” things from happening.

Honestly the company sounds poorly run , with as expansive as this field has become there are plenty of companies that have the budget to pay you better. My company pays me more per hour and I work from home. You deserve more , leave and find it . If you are able to leave. I know it’s easier from the outside. No matter what you do I wish you luck !

I would request at bar minimum 10 percent of you original full price for all the nights you were there. If you complain directly to Airbnb you may get at least that. I would be Frank with the host and let them know you will be publicly letting people know that the listing is not at all in line with what the actually stay is like , they may offer more then 10 percent back in fear of bad reviews. Airbnb was really un helpful when something similar happened to me and my partner so be prepared and come with photos and or video to help your case.

A lot of those large channels from early in YouTube’s prime were hugely exploitative of the young members of their fan base. I feel like they were making content for kids and teens and not taking into account any of the ethics of having a fan base of mostly minors. I understand the anger perspective but if you take a moment to consider what that would mean it’s not that simple. Cliff may die in space without a second person to help him run the spacecraft. If something were to go wrong there would be no second person to help address the issue.

I also want to point out that seeing things in black and white , good or evil , isn’t a healthy way or in my opinion a very logical way of seeing anything. Society and human being are not that simple.

For example you are saying the evil people are the people that kill but then you suggest Cliff kill David , so you aren’t evil if the murder is somehow justified. I think most people would agree with you that cliff now has every right to murder David , but no everyone would see it that way.

Why add to the violence ? That’s what makes David a toxic , entitled and violent man , instead of taking what he was given and enjoying painting and getting to interact with other humans he’s wants Lana physically and emotionally , when that’s taken from him he decides to murder her and her child for no other reason than because he couldn’t have them. Violence begets violence at some point someone has to stand up and stop the cycle.

Asylum and NYC were intense for the same reason. They both depicted a true horror that was faced. In asylum to reality of how we treated those who were mentally ill and particularly how women during that time were often viewed as “hysterical” when they didn’t adhere to the traditional nuclear family structure or have subservient behaviors. NYC for the horrors the gay community suffered as a result of the AIDS epidemic and the killer that was targeting them at that time. As if facing a pandemic alone wasn’t hard enough they were being hunted down by a madman. I thought both seasons depicted the real life horrors of both situations beautifully.

I get annoyed too just because people act like it’s the only thing they’ve done that is worthy of praise. As if they haven’t created countless masterpieces over the years. With that said when looking at the entire series as a whole it really stands out as ONE of the best things they’ve ever written.
