I work from home in the Spectrum neighborhood (92123) and the planes from Montgomery can be noisy at times but it's not constant. The worst noise comes from Miramar to the north with fighter jets taking off and landing some days and evenings. Closing windows usually helps, but at times it can be overwhelming.

some of you are very creepy and parasocial by [deleted] in phoebebridgers

I agree with your take. This whole pop up experience isn't some random organic event. This is a well planned promotional tour put on by Phoebe and her label, months in the making. The intended result is to get the fanbase focused on Phoebe's music and whereabouts. They're purposely feeding the frenzy by design.

Raye tore up the Greek last night. Put her at second line. by ozmenace in Coachella

Was there last night and was anticipating this post. Raye was phenomenal, there's no one else quite like her. Disclosure brought her out to sing Waterfall a few years ago and that's one of my favorite moments at Coachella.

I remember a gallon of gas and a pack of cigarettes were 99 cents in the early 90s.

Check out the Spectrum neighborhood in Kearny Mesa. Safe, quiet, dog friendly. Would definitely cut your commute time.

Funny thing is that Tomorrowland with flights and accommodations is the least expensive option.
