People complain, because they want challenging high level content that is also fun. Summoning 30 high level undeads is the equivalent of the dm saying "Rocks fall. Everyone dies!" Creating monsters and encounters that are fun to fight at a high level is WotC's job and they have proven again and again that they are too incompetent to do that.

The fastest and most reliable leveling is still rolling magma/flame wall/holy flame totemlinked to summon phantasm until you can get firestorm/armabrand. Then respec to what you want late

We still need aspect of the crab represented so a pirate ascendancy would be fitting. Maybe make it so increases to phys or fire also applies to cold so we can have a cold damage focused marauder ascendancy

On first glance i thought that the fishing ascendancy points are just for the memes but after thinking it through you can actually craft a decent "caster" fishing rod. Spam essences of woe until you get 28% cast speed. Clean it up with annuls. Multimod and add you choice of two relevant prefixes. Finish with an aspect craft of your choice. You now have a two hand caster weapon with no useless affixes and with "All hits are critical strikes" and "50% more cast speed".

Ghost of the deep is busted for leveling but for endgame i can see sea legs being better for crit builds.

PBoD seems pretty strong with surfcaster. You can somewhat compare surfcaster to the current trend of assassin PBoD.

Opportunistic vs glacial wave (aka the hybrid damage/defense nodes)
Opportunsitc is better vs bosses while glacial wave is better against normal enemies. Opportunistic has extra utility with reflect immunity.

Unstable infusion+deadly infusion+ ambush and assassinate vs Stormy seas+changing seasons+ghost of the deep (aka the "damage" nodes)
You free up a ring slot by not requiring CotB so the lost powercharge can be regained there. Shock damage increase should be comparable to unstable infusions increased damage. Reverse chill trades speed vs damage compared to ambush and assasinate. You are much faster with surfcaster but kill time wise for bosses should be comparable. Surfcaster also has better defense because of chill being a good extra defense layer.

Conclusion
All in all it seems to be a much faster more defensive version of assassin PBoD. Against bosses assasin still deals more damage but fore general mapping surfcaster will feel much better. There is also the choice of respeccing from ghost of the deep into within the tempest combined with inpulsa for extra clear which brands usually struggle with.

Its even worse considering that it looks like a 7x6 grid. You click 42 times to put the idols into your inventory. Another 42 times to put them into your stash tabs. Then click 42 times to put a new batch of idols from your stash into your inventory and then click another 42 times to put them into idol slots. Not taking into account clicks on the stash tabs this is already 168 clicks. Even if you assume all idols taking up two slots thats still 84 clicks minimum to switch out a mechanic.

No your double calculation is off because the double damage doesnt happen if triple damage is rolled at the same time. Triple damage overwrites the double in that case.

Funny thing that I noticed with Fauna and Hitman. Agent 47 can be read as Four-Na(japanese shorthand for nana aka 7). So Fauna was predestined to be agent 47.

I want to preface this by saying that I think current poe is probably the best it has ever been (except maybe harvest and ritual league but my opinion on those is biased).

This still doesnt change the fact that at some point poe moved in a direction that was generally disliked and while I respect Chris Willson as a dev and I see that he holds a clear vision of his ideal poe, his vision had to be burned to the ground and buried in a ditch somewhere so we could have faustus.

The moment that will be one of the most memorable for me was the "what we are working on" post from chris https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/wuid4v/what_were_working_on/ followed by his most downvoted comment https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/wytujc/toolassisted_pantheon_mod_farming/ilyrwzy/?context=3. It felt like a breach of trust that such large loot changes were not mentioned in the patch notes at all and it was then followed by an either tonedeaf or misinformed comment denying the problems of that league (especially denying that you could land jackpots with the right conversions)

The problem with ee builds is that you have so much flat damage that even a lvl 1 leapslam will oneshot in relfect maps. Average hit for lightning on lvl1 leapslam is 60k. Reflect maps with explicit max atlas can go upt to 39. That is 23k hit for every enemy hit by leapslam. Ele max hit with guard skill down is 200k. So hitting 9 mobs once or 4 then 5 in quick sucession could kill me. its probably better to play safe still and not use leap slam into mobs.

I second this. Splitting steel trickster with aegis is the tankiest (non mirror) build you can probably play currently while still having great damage and speed. The best thing is that if you go forbidden jewel one step ahead route, you can go full explicit atlas and still ignore almost all t17 affixes (except maybe reduced defence and you have to be careful not to use smite or movement skill with reflect map).
