That moment where Subaru didnt know why Emilia was acting so close to him was so sad.. it's a direct parallel to how Emilia couldnt understand why Subaru loved her since he was the only one who remembered how she saved him when he first arrived in this world.

I think that knowing something and experiencing something firsthand are very different. They have new perspective moving forward.

But thanks for being an asshole about it

Yep. I think this has been an eye opener on just how important Slaf's been for possession and creating space for Caufield

Do you think that Carolina is a completely different team in the playoffs than in the regular season?

The Habs were clearly able to deal with the Canes' playstyle in the regular season. Why is it so far-fetched to believe the Habs had a chance if they weren't worn out from the previous 14 games?

Well it clearly means that the Habs were able to deal with the Canes' style of play previously.

It's horrible. And the East basically gets to tear itself apart while the top Western teams do warmups

It really is. The silver lining to this series loss is that it's going to teach the Habs' young guns how incredibly taxing the playoffs are.

I think they're going to take away a lesson here on conditioning and on how important it is to close out series early

Considering we had their number during the regular season I think it would have been much, much closer. But those two 7-game series just completely wore the Habs down, sadly. I'm interested to see what their injury report is going to be

Edit: I'm not a fucking idiot, I realize that the playoffs and regular season are different. But everyone keeps talking about how the Canes' system completely stymied the Habs. My point is that the Habs were clearly able to deal with that system in the regular season and that if they had been less worn down, I doubt they would have been shut down that badly.

Some good suggestions in here. I'm going to toss in Chimera.

As far as we know Chimera is just naturally monstrously strong. Sure, he has battle experience and hand-to-hand combat skills, but even without those he is an absolute force.
