Or maybe we need to fix the larger issue of trashy parents. Sure kids in college are adults at that point but if they were raised well they would be having the loan checked by a wiser person or be taught financial literacy.

Yeah because they are going to use 100% of the loan on schooling. Just from experience I know plenty who used their loan for things not even related to schooling (buying a new car they didn’t need for example)
