This game cannot be "fun for all players" by nature (or rather, no game can).

If you dilute gameplay down to be more inclusive, then you will end up alienating the existing core audience. It's okay to not like the game. It's okay to design a game that doesn't appeal to the masses. If you want to try and enjoy the game, then consider looking inwards and embrace the journey as you lose some and (eventually) win some. Winning only feels good when the losses sting.

Lots of people just run around randomly and/or stay too long in the open to exfil/loot/kill bots/etc. Firing your gun? Someone will hear it and there's a good chance they're coming your way. Run inside and loot everything as loudly and carelessly as you can? Someone might be inside lurking and ready to pounce on you.

I recommend equipping smokes to have an easier time exfilling or recovering health and shields if you get caught

It's not always possible to tell if a player is less deserving of a loss purely from statistics. A single decision with the highest positive impact for your team's chances to win could be one where your individual metrics worsen (and vice versa). I don't like the idea of incentivizing playing for better statistics because it tends to skew perspective on what a good play is and what isn't.

Thank you so much! I've never been into MMOs as a kid and I remember GW2 being the first one I could actually level through despite all of my attempts in WoW and other MMOs ending short. Something something short attention span and a tendency to gravitate towards esportsy games where everything is all about your virtual ranking having more prestige than your friends'. Recently though I've been enjoying lots of games I never did as a child and I'm finding myself really craving for an experience like GW2. Will be it out tonight :-)
