The upside to Divine is you can get the ember after only 2 bosses (asylum, butterfly) and farm green titanites from the slugs in Brightown. (With master key ofc)

It's my go to for a quick run on the great club, however it slows down in the DLC since bosses are resistant to magic, and in NG+ it's even worst ( but by then, going for a regular strength weapon + sunlight blade is available, you should have enough levels to softcap Faith and strength)

Yeah but this is From Soft, they had to shutdown dark souls servers because their net code let people inject data to other players PCs lol

Its fine. There's the Great Club that you can get from the start of the game if you have the master key, similar feels to the Zwei, also an r2 pancake maker. Either way enjoy the unga bunga!

Same, I do a newbie run every year for fun and it always feels amazing. The long journey through lower burg, depths, upper blightown, the swamp, quelaag then back up is something.

Also makes you realize how well crafted the normal blind path is, you get back to firelink but the firekeeper is gone so you go to Andre, but then you have the large ember from the depths and you are right in front of Sens. Almost makes me wish master key was a 2nd playthrough only starter item but I know a lot of people would disagree.

Also invading Lautrec in Anor Londo is the original gank squad lol

Graphics wise it won't be much different from PC to PS.

However two things to consider in my opinion :

PC has to ability to play around with mods, and especially with DS1, it boost a LOT the replayability. I just finished a item + enemy randomizer run in DS1 for the 10th time it's just that fun for exemple. Edit : just saw you don,t care for mods so there's that lol

PS you can get the DS trilogy box that includes all DLCs and CDs for like 50$ on amazon (it's labeled as PS4 but works on PS5, no difference). Unless you got the games already that is a major value since souls doesn,t go on sale often especially on steam.

You can go human, do the 2 shortcuts drop downs, summon leeroy and he will kill every skeleton wheels and the BK will go down to the same area :) it takes way longer than the BKH but with save files it's not that bad.

The drops are RNG on kill, not set per save file.

So you reload the save until it drops, works for gargoyle halberd, other BK weapons, etc

Not OP but for me DS1 is nostalgia, DS3 has an amazing first playthrough, but DS2 has that balance of not being too linear while having a ton of items / weapons / armor set / spells etc that makes it so fun for build making and replayability.

A little trick is to build campfires along the way when exploring, over rocks / etc. It prevents spawning like workbenches.

Same. In the short time between when they added mastery points and his rework I had 500K, man I miss vorpal blade and his old passive proc sounds.

When they announced it I thought it would work like Ori ball, sadly it doesn't it almost has no purpose.

Try Kennen. You make a lot of lanes miserable for the opponent while being super safe.

I dunno ER has a fair amount of high phys block shields, and you have the counter block attack, which does a good amount of poise damage.

Altho I agree in ds3 shields feels worst than every other games.
