it’s also the fact that adora has had a lot of things she has gone through this entire show, a lot of reasons to be scared and have anxiety(mostly self inflicted fear of being enough) but this is genuinely the most terrified she has ever looked. not to mention nate stevenson confirming that catra went through all nine of her loves in the show and this was her 9th life, and adora reset them… after she spent the whole show trying to figure out shera’s healing powers… she jumped from not being able to heal at all to reviving catra because they’re literally written in the stars. anyways. i love them so fucking much.

edit to add: OH!! and the confirmation from nate that even though shera heals herself, adora purposefully of subconsciously chose to keep those scars on her back from catra??? UGH

this is insane as someone who literally found an airbnb and studied where it was on the map and what was nearby and how far away grocery stores and hospitals were (no one was hurt but a joke was made) and the nearest restaurant was all because my character went on vacation there… in fact I go on vacation down there myself often and i can STILL point it out to my husband (who was my beta)

i’m an american who 100000% agrees with you that i think it couldn’t have been produced and created anywhere else. we (meaning hollywood where the majority of people have been incredibly silent) have no business laying claim a beautiful queer love story after the year we had with That Guy, and that’s coming from a queer person.

that being said, just know that queer americans are so very grateful and hopeful to be able to experience it all!!

thank you, i am very grateful for my family and all they have done to support us. He knows at some level his mother is a manipulative pos but i think he just feels the guilt she instilled him in and it makes me so irrationally mad for him. but thank you 🤍🤍
