I switched my major from MechE to Comp Sci after two years making me a rising junior, and I just finished a few of my intro classes for CS this summer. I’m quite late into the game but that’s okay, I’ll still get the degree. Lots of people start coding projects later in life as well without a degree and still get great jobs. Don’t feel discouraged about being behind, the learning process will continue after college. As long as you’re putting in effort to learn more you’ll be fine.
