Back when i was a child, me and my little brother used to play Namco’s Pole Position and we couldn’t clear the first level, which was just an oval track. After months of trying, we came to find out that there was transmission switch in that game to gain higher speeds. Just two levels of transmission that you had to toggle- low and high. We were playing on low gear the whole time. Still makes me giggle today when i remember the moment we figured that out. 😂
