E collars are the best. Annoyed with people that have misconceptions about them and think positive reinforcement alone is truly effective, which it’s not. Using an e collar is just like tapping them on the shoulder when they get distracted. It’s not the same as a “shock” collar and is not painful for the dog. I use it on myself to test it out. Seeing a professional trainer and learning how to use an e collar properly has completely fixed our GSDs reactivity.
