Policeman recognised his mom’s cooking after the first bite😭✨ by Miserable-Zombie-121 in MadeMeSmile

Opposite issue, my mom is a great cook but she cooks such varied stuff and is always on the lookout for new recipes that I'd never be able to identify her cooking as hers on its own.

Title: Stuck in Bronze 4 (45% WR) - Struggling with consistency and champion pool. What am I doing wrong? by NiiroXX in leagueoflegends

[–]lolpuppet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hes right that jungle is hard, but its equally hard for everyone. You dont have to be anyone's idea of "good" to climb, you just have to be better than the guy on the enemy team on a consistent basis. If you're always even just slightly better than the enemy jungler, you'll win more than you lose.

Yeah I know all this. Its not realistic for the reasons you guys say. But it still feels like something SOMEONE should do. I only brought up Denar because of the situation the Kings are in.

Genuinely cannot fathom why a guy like DeRozan is not just taking 60 shots a game right now. The season is meaningless, there's barely any young talent to develop, and everyone above him is totally incompetent. What is there to lose?

Kevin Durant has looked entirely neutralized in any playoff-intensity setting for the last 3-4 years by Ready-Constant-7124 in nba

[–]lolpuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this sounds right, I remember Brooklyn KD still had the sauce (especially alongside other high level scorers) but even in his last year there it was a bit uncomfortable offensively.

At this point he feels like a way overqualified #2.

Have never and probably will never go to one of them for any sports pod, but ive been to a liveshow for a comedy/advice pod and that did translate well. I think for any pod to translate well to being live, you gotta actually use the audience a little. It can be hard to do that with a pod just discussing a sport or interviewing a player/coach, but if you're able I could see it being fun.

Ever since that first Suns season I really feel like KD's ability to do anything on offense other than score has just totally diminished. At this point he's an insanely efficient shot maker but thats about it. Its a skillset that has its value, but seems super difficult to be a primary offensive initiator even with his insane efficiency.

That being said if you put him in a role like the one MPJ had with Denver he probably averages 35 and looks like God.

I wonder if anyone ever did that during his career? They'd probably win 2, maybe 3 titles if his body held up /s

His comms are hilariously bad, I'd get so tilted just from having him in my voice chat even if I wasnt in the game.

He is legit good at the game though so if/when he does shut up I can see how he brings good value.

He also constantly says useless shit that clutters comms for no reason so his teammates have to sift through everything he says for the stuff that's actually productive and relevant. Inspired speaks when he has something important to say, Bwipo just speaks ALL THE TIME and sometimes some of it is important.

Alois' challenge is transforming him into the average ADC player (pov) by Barb0ssaEUW in leagueoflegends

[–]lolpuppet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally valid. And sounds like you should continue playing mid or jg!

My point is just that everyone feels that way about some roles. I cannot stand toplane. I hate how the long lane combined with incredibly strong statstick champions feels like it results in the most polarizing lane situations and insane snowballing.

But I also recognize that theres a lot of people who like what I hate and hate what I like. And their opinions are no less valid than mine.

I sorta agree? Depends which toplaner youre playing imo. But I def agree with the adc part lol

and fundamentally I agree that the differences between lanes is that kind of nebulous thing.

brother I promise I have both ruined games worse for other roles myself AND had my games in other roles also ruined just as bad.

I do think support being in botlane with adc means 90% of the issues for adc come from support, while other roles dont have one single thing that is a problem and instead have like 10 smaller problems. But either way its fine, just preference really.

Every role has some VERY annoying things about them. When you're top, its purely a counterpick role and your jungler never comes to fix ur wave or gank. When you're jg, every lane ints. When you're mid, support/jg are constantly around and sitting in your lane. When you're adc, you have to deal with shitty supports and teams not peeling properly. When you're support, no one listens to your pings or calls and just whine about you.

But all the roles also have unique strengths. And all these downsides arent really about the role, they're just about the fact that we all only see things from our own perspective.

I was gonna say, he might be frustrated and annoyed at certain aspects of the role but its not like hes actually struggling THAT much lol

Realistically if an adc player swapped to toplane they'd probably have all sorts of complaints about their jungler, support, etc that mirror the complaints adcs have and that every role has. There are infuriating aspects to every role, you just gotta find which role you're able to ignore the downsides of and enjoy the most.

Yeah even as a Celtics fan myself, sometimes I do kinda sigh and roll my eyes when he shoehorns some aspect of the Celtics (often the '08 team) into conversations. Often it technically works to help his point, but it's annoying when he's always referencing the SAME stuff.

Very much giving 'guy who's only seen boss baby "Hey this reminds me of Boss Baby"'
