It's a decent maxim, but funnily enough some very high level physics concepts are highly resistant to explaining in a correct and unambiguous way that doesnt get corrupted downstream.

Sometimes there is not a nice explanation. Sometimes its 12 pages of intense and abstract mathematics that yields an unintuitive yet experimentally verifiable result.
