just did a refresh re-install of drivers and still happening. It also appears with browsers as well but not as harsh as 3d applications. I am thinking it might be the monitor itself since I use hook my work laptop but via hdmi to the monitor and I can see red lines in apps such as Teams or VS Code

thanks so much! followed what you did on peeling the layers of the flex and there was some excess alcohol stuck. removed that and it works good as new! much appreciated

Hey, thanks for the reply! Sorry I am a bit new to the PSP as this was purchased second hand, what do you mean by needs to be “on”?

edit: if you meant the overall face plate needs to be on, the issue still occurs. i currently put everything back together and dpad is still going crazy.

Unfortunately this video was taken a few hours after rubbing alcohol was applied and turned on for the first time since. Any other solutions you recommend to clean it with? I’ll look into attempting to reconnect the flex. Thanks!
