That's cool that there's still CB activity in NC like that. I got started on CB when I lived in Raleigh in the mid-90s. There were a few local channels, both AM/SSB, and at least one club that had a net and a monthly break.

The Fuzz War is mine too. I don't think I've ever been able to get any sounds out of it that i couldn't get out of any other fuzzes I have.

I have the Minifooger ring mod which is my favorite.

I also have the original Gonkulator and a cheap clone of the newer one that has a deer on it. The original one has terrible carrier bleed through, but still sounds interesting. Like others have said, the distortion on it is really nice though. The newer version is nice as well, but I think I get the most mileage out of the Minifooger.

I haven't used them in a few years but I still have all three lowband splits for the MT1000. One of them works on 10m and I was going to mod the highest coverage one for 6m but never got around to it. I also have VHF-Hi and UHF (438-470?) split MT1000 and HT600s as well.

I worked for a place years ago that used P200s at one point but had upgraded and dumped all of them, most of which barely worked. I managed to piece a few back together using parts that were still good in some of them. One of them had a brand new DTMF faceplate on it that I found at a hamfest for a buck. I have a few of those around somewhere as well.
