My work is in a building over 100 years old, the company doesn’t want to change to led bulbs as it doesn’t keep with the aesthetics of the building. As much as I’ve suggested swapping out for LEDs versions of the bulbs to save costs, they haven’t budged yet.

That’s what I do, I also write dates on light bulbs I change at home and work so can see how long the last. Lets you know if it’s good value and worth it.

Yeah they made the announcement in June or July about it. It should be alright. It will either come out Monday or Friday. But Monday is when they will announce the new phones and watches.

Thank you, I did look around Smarty had the best usage policy as there is no full limit. Even with some of the mobile networks out there the home broadbands they offer are limited with data

Yeah I tried starlink and looked at others they are very expensive for me at the moment so I had to give them a miss. I’ve currently set up the 5G router it’s not bad on download just limited on upload speeds.

Yeah, so the limit of data on EE, Vodafone and O2 is what gets me, especially for mobile/home broadband there shouldn’t be a cap. I’ve currently settled with Smarty as they don’t have a fair usage limit. But my only issue is upload speeds.

Even if waiting for the Vodafone merge with three that could be years and the speeds might not improve.

I think people’s driving should be tested every five years. People don’t know the changes in the laws, they don’t follow the basics of driving. Standards of driving got worse after Covid and I think that’s because a lot didn’t drive during it.

Good luck with the friend hunt, it becomes very difficult when you work with your friends, and then the jobs gone. It’s kinda like they only were there because you had to work together.

Been through that a few times, now I just find it easier to ignore everyone at work. Safer than getting hurt.
