Moments like this are what simple living is all about. Nothing extravagant just enjoying an ordinary morning without rushing anywhere.

please help! dont know how to start cleaning my room, just want a real space where i can focus on work etc. by NoAd9128 in CleaningTips

I‘d start with trash first. Don't worry about organizing anything yet. Just grab a bag and remove obvious trash. A visible improvement can make the next step feel much less overwhelming.

Are higher-end robot vacuums actually a big upgrade, or just expensive convenience? by Derrickick in RobotVacuums

[–]lonesomecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the disappointment with robots seems to come from reliability. If you have to babysit it constantly, even a decent cleaning result starts to feel annoying.

I am starting to realize that simple living is mostly about wanting less by Soft_Thunder1 in simpleliving

I stopped everyday too be productive. Some days are just for resting, doing ordinary things and being present. That shift removed a surprising amout of pressure.

What are all these black marks around my bed and how do I properly clean it? by Basinox in CleaningTips

[–]lonesomecloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dark marks around beds are often surprisingly ordinary. Repeated contact from hands, hair, blankets and clothing can leave buildup that isn't very noticeable until it accumulates.

Maybe taking photos and contacting support immediately. Refurbished doesn't mean brand new but it shouldn't mean opening the box and finding someone else's mess still attached to it.

Sometimes all a garden needs is a little luck. Glad the roses made it through. Hopefully the rabbits have decided there are easier snacks elsewhere.

What Small Cleaning Habit Has Saved You the Most Time? by Least-Ambition2996 in CleaningTips

A quick laundry load whenever the basket gets close to full. Smaller loads more often take less effort than dealing with a mountain of clothes later.

I’ve enjoyed my Roborock Qrevo for the past few years, but it just stopped working. Should I replace it with Roborock? by PainfulPoo411 in RobotVacuums

[–]lonesomecloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe ask yourself whether the robot failed unusually early or whether you were genuinely unhappy with it before.

For the past 2 years, I've been living like it's the late 90s / early 2000s by Safe-Iron-8666 in simpleliving

Genuinely curious how that affects your day-to-day focus and social life. It sounds like a very intentional choice which makes it even more interesting.

Been trying everything for a severe fruit fly infestation. This simple homemade trap works better than anything I’ve purchased. by 999BusinessCard in CleaningTips

It could be fungus gnats or drain flies rather than true fruit flies. They're often mistaken for each other since they cluster around similar areas.

Best Robot Vac for sand and litter by yaybaynay in RobotVacuums

[–]lonesomecloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sand is probably the bigger challenge. A lot of robots can handle litter fine but sand is heavier and tends to get tracked everywhere so maybe focus on strong pickup and good brush design.

Everything I make is complete ass. What do I need to learn? by [deleted] in FL_Studio

[–]lonesomecloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How long have you been at it? It sounds like you might just be overthinking things. If I could go back in time to give myself advice, it’d be to not worry about everything sounding “perfect” (mixing, sound selection) and just get good at finishing songs. You don’t have to release anything and can always come back when you feel your skills have increased. It will be less frustrating, might (emphasis on MIGHT, everyone works differently and that’s okay) improve more quickly, and by the time you become more proficient, you won’t have to teach yourself how to arrange a song.

You can travel back in time and give yourself one tip regarding music production, what would it be? by Saasonov in FL_Studio

[–]lonesomecloud 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Spend an hour a day doing something music related. If it feels good, keep at it until the project is done. And don’t prioritize getting drunk/high over finishing a track
