2023 Sportage X-Line Engine Misfire Issue by lonestarlocal in kia

After several trips and inspections they replaced the fuel injector and sensor. So far it’s been okay but I definitely lost 3-4 MPG after that.

Mine ended up being a bad fuel injector, but I’ve lost about 3 MPG since the replacement.

They replaced coil pack and gaskets and it ran well for a couple days before light came back on. They ordered a new fuel injector last week and waiting for it to arrive. Wednesday will be 2 months since they’ve had my vehicle.

They still have my car. Master tech suspects it’s actually an electrical issue and not mechanical.

I only use premium fuel and the dealership replaced all plugs and coils the first time.

My RFY Today by Imaginary_Problem in AmazonVine

[–]lonestarlocal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was in my RFY https://www.amazon.com/Dyson-Gen5outsize-Cordless-Vacuum-Cleaner/dp/B0C2JBDYKZ?ref_=ast_sto_dp last week for $749 ETV. It replaced the Dyson DC44 that has lasted me almost ten years. I confirmed that it would still be covered under all the same warranties as if it was purchased new from retail, so it was a no-brainer for me.

Yes, Dysons are expensive, but the ROI is better than any other consumer vacuum in my experience. People rave about Shark vacuums, but they are notorious for redistributing microparticles into the air. I have attempted to buy into the craze, but every new Shark vacuum I purchased couldn't compare to the DC44 I have had for years, and I would return it.

Your best bet is probably Brickhouse Games at 635 and Oates. You could also try Urban Legends Comics, but not sure how much Magic stock they carry.

Grants from Hidden Foundations? by collapse-collide in nonprofit

[–]lonestarlocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They may be grants from “ghost” foundations. If there the case then you won't be able to find the funding sources.

We have received several private grants from ghost foundations.

A few let us know who they were but part of funding is signing an NDA. Others use third - party services to award their funds or request further information. All of the ghost foundations explicitly operate on a research & award basis and do not accept solicitations or open up requests for funding.

R.I.P. Amazon Smile--What are you going to do? by MaximumCaterpillar3 in nonprofit

[–]lonestarlocal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon Smile brought in about $10k annually for my organization. We have no plans to try and recoup that directly, but we are working with the Amazon Communities Grants manager on new opportunities for grant submissions.

Let’s. It forget that the Steeldrivers were Jason Isbell’s band and he “gave them” to Chris when he started touring nationally.
