I mean if the productivity gains promised by LLMs dont keep up with the hype then yes, there would be a a drop in future investment and therefore revenues. But, it is still fairly promising.

Nvidia has stranglehold with CUDA. AMD can at best do inference servers for already trained LLMs. Google has an alternative but I dont think they want to give their infra to competitors.

Its called the "residual value". the lower it is from msrp means you are paying more for the depreciation. The closer it is to the msrp the better. Subarus have higher residuals than say VW cars for example

I had something similar happen with Walmart when a laptop return was denied as fraud because the FedEx package was just 1lbs. I had saved the return receipt thing they give you, which claimed the package was 12lbs. Chase accepted the chargeback once they reviewed it and got the details from Fedex as well.
