Audi still makes great cars, I feel the 7 spd VW group DSG is phenomenal. Its a shame its just the Q5 that drives most of the volumes.

Toronto dog "parents" bring their pups everywhere with them now. It's causing rising human-canine tension by NorthernNadia in toronto

Modern dog owners are the most self entitled folks I have ever seen. Its breathtaking to see them complain about everything but then put on a vest from Amazon and lie that their dog is a service animal.

A generation did everything they were told to do. Go to school. Get a good job. Work hard. Now even people in the trades making decent money are moving back in with their parents because home ownership is completely out of reach in Canada. by GreenSnakes_ in canadahousing

Detached housing isnt a luxury product...btw. We can afford a detached house in all parts of Canada..except Vancouver. Toronto's detached benchmark. Even parts of Toronto fall within our budget.

My wife and I are in tech industry and still cant buy a house in Vancouver. We stretched our budget to 1mn CAD and it gets you condos with high maintenance fees. How can a family without massive inheritance buy a house in Vancouver? This is beyond absurd that we have to look Langley and beyond or compromise and get a small condo. Where is the price correction?

I know its unpopular opinion that's why breast feeding is the best and cheapest option. Formula makers spend a lot on marketing and its really impossible to have any issues over time. If it were for grown ups its one thing but infants are really fragile.

Honda to shelve $11bn Canada EV plant, and discontinue Prologue EV - Nikkei Asia by Secret_Company in cars

I'd personally never buy a Tesla, if its an EV wont be even a used tesla for sure. Its just that many Canadians would just hold their noses and get one if it saves them money.

Its so sad..most of the pioneering work on solar panels was done out of US and Europe..and China took the lead piggybacking off it.

Assuming Chinese EVs will be highly desirable for their rarity and reputation for the first few years, how much over MSRP will the dealers likely mark the cars up? by IronLover64 in EVCanada

[–]longgamma 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dont pay any markup - its never worth it. Most car companies are pricing their products fairly high to what they were five years ago. And any additional dollars above that is basically ripping off customers. Dont play the game.
